Isiah stole his joy.
And he ain't that good.
Remember Channing made the statement on LB about "when you have a person telling you to work on one thing but work on something different everyday in practice how would you feel?"
How do you feel now Channing?

Funny you post that. He played 'better under Brown'. He was forced to play harder, until he hurt his knee. Brown was in his head! The kid isn't hungry enough. He's starting and playing in his second year and plays like he's physically fragile. Zeke needs to think about his troops performances, on an individual basis and look at the details of his players more. This is a very good reason why a guy like Lee should be starting. He's hungry, looking in from the outside and wants a piece of the action. This is were Frye needs to be. He's too comfy right now, knowing he's a starter and thinking about that damn knee too much. In other words 'he doesn't have to work hard for it, so he doesn't have the hunger to go out and just play the game of basketball, and thinks more about getting hurt than he did before the accident'!
I think it's things like that, that need to be looked at more. Make him earn it and stop worrying about that knee getting injured again. Your playing a physical game here, your going to get injured sooner or later anyway, so might as well give it your best and do what you do best. Zeke needs to address this soon. Zeke needs to get into Frye's head. Someone does! We already know what Frye is capable of. It's all in his head right now.
Frye isn't hungry? He is too comfortable? He is worried abouy his knee? Lee is hungrier? How do you reach those conclusions?
Frye has shown me that he is dedicated to improving his game, he cares about winning, he seems to be a good teammate, and he has rare offensive skills. His problem is that he still does not know what he can and cannot do, he is being put in bad situations on defense, and he still has alot of work to do on his game. I am convinced that Frye would be a solid center in this league. He has the game and movements of a center. He needs to continue to work on his upper body and leg strength, develop a couple of more post moves other than his jump hook, and learn to slow down on his jumper. I noticed that usually when he misses it is because he rushed the shot. When he takes his time, he shoots at a much higher percentage. This kid has alot of potential but he needs to be put in the right situation. I would definitely move him to the bench and have him backup Curry and when he comes in, let him post up on the block. This kid should get at least 6-7 post opportunities a game and then run a few pick and pops with him and Marbury. IT needs to really focus on showing Frye exactly what they want him to do. Moreover, the defensive lineup with Frye at the top of the key has to go. There is no way Frye can move out to the shooters up there. We saw yesterday that when you keep Frye near the basket, he can be a decent defender (obviously he still needs more work). He altered several of Amare's shots. He just has to work on his lateral movement.
