Pheonix played b-b with heavy minutes--they have no one who can stop Curry and we can play free flow--we dont play defense for the most part anyway:) IF Crawford Q-Rich Marbury and Nate can hit shots---I think a surprise is possible.

i don't think Marbury's playing... that would be too much to expect him to run up & down the court checking Steve Nash on that bum knee... i think Nate will see heavy minutes tonight as long as he doesn't get into foul trouble & plays somewhat under control... i expect a big scoring night out of Jamal too... 30+ (where have i heard that before?)

I have them losing by 15+. Hope I'm wrong.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

If Marbury doesn't play, our chances are nil and none.

who's got Amare?

Briggs - it would require an cohesive defensive effort, field goal percentage and MSG fan support of the highest order. The Suns are good.

Then again, I'd start Lee at center and put Balkman at two guard.

It will depend on if Nate can do a good job running the point and hitting his shots. If he can rise to the occasion, we have a shot. I agree that they have no one to stop Curry. The problem is who is Curry going to guard.

Curry and Crawford combine for 60

QRich hits 6 threes for 22pts

Frye scores 15, Lee Scores 12, Nate adds 10

Perhaps if that happens we have a chance, but if you can't hold the heat in transition and Crawford can't guard Gary Payton, ****ing disgraceful its going to be a blood bath out there...

Chuckford? Sure. I could easily see him going 15 for 41 with 35 points in a 120-99 loss.

i'm sure it'll be all his fault that we lost the game too in a lot of eyes around these parts.

Fault? Not entirely. The coach deserves a lot of the blame for letting a chucker go wild. Chuckford and Natebury in the backcourt... who knows, if we're playing well there's a chance they might combine for at least 6 assists tonight.

It's bad, but I wasn't totally against Chuckford. But then I saw his putrid stats and got to see him live. A lot of people talked of the exposition really seeing Curry up live, how truly bad his defense is. And while that was true, the really revealing thing was seeing how many AWFUL decisions Chuckford makes. He just flings the ball up like it's the javelin throw competition. If we could replace Chuckford with a shooter with ball handling skills, who makes some effort to guard the perimeter, I do think we'd be an above .500 team.

u saw him on a night when he wasn't playing well... go to more games & you'll see him be a catalyst for the offense out there too... he's inconsistent & very streaky... when he's on, he's literally unstoppable, & it's a beautiful thing to watch

IF Miami and countless other situations like that one has tough us anything, when teams see the opponents top player(s) are not going toplay, there is a big time risk of expecting a cake walk and getting punched in the mouth............ especially when you are in the that teams building.

I would not be surprised by a knicks win because the suns let us linger.

Yes, but he's a 38% shooter. If you're saying the success of the team relies on a 38% shooter being unstoppable, I think we're in trouble. I also saw how the offense stagnates when he's running the offense. Marbury and Francis are much better distributors than Chuckford. I think Chuckford needs to step into a Rip Hamilton-like role or get traded, because the style that he's been playing holds the entire fate of the team on him getting on a hot streak, which is a risky proposition.

This game can be the turning point of the season.

If we get blown out, that's back to back blow outs. It's gonna be tough to get outta it.

If we win, we reiterate the fact that we can beat quality teams like we've been doing this season.

the fate of the team doesn't rest in any 1 players' hands... it depends on the entire team playing well as a unit... that's a different topic... i'm just telling u Craw is not half as bad as u might think he is... you caught him live on a bad night... i've been at games when he absolutely lit up the Garden & let me tell u, there's not a player on this team that can do the things he can do when he's on his game... he's the closest thing to a true star go-to perimeter player that we have when he's got it going... Marbury can be great when he's on his game too, but he's never as unstoppable as Jamal can be at times, & not half as exciting of a player either IMO.
