That's about the times he started consistently scoring 20 or more a game to, so it shows!
I'll never trust this' team again.

He has really done a good job of improving on the offensive end of things..The growth so far is truly amazing..More than anyone here thought they would have seen from him...But I'm greedy, I want to see him step up on Defense now...

Yeah thats true but he has been facing nightly double teamss every game in Jan for sure and his shooting is near 70% in Jan. You have to love that!

Its honestly half of the fun just watching Lee and Curry and waiting to see what new skill you are going to see from them from game to game. Marbs looks so much better too.

Last night Curry dove to the basket and threw up a reverse layup... where did that come from? And he hits freethrows all of the sudden?

Lee is dunking from all over the place and playing point-forward...what!?!

These two are really amazing.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

We all want that but its a process. You cant just flip a switch. first he improved his post moves, next his pass outs, lately its been his ft shooting. Next will be his defense. It may be next year after a sumer of work. Aguire said he worked out with him often this summer.

If there was a Most Improved Tandem award Lee and Curry would be a cinch. Hard not to be excited about having 23-24 year olds like Lee, Frye and Curry

I don't recall Aguirre being that good defensively...It is a process and I'm happy to be where we are with Curry...I think the best thing that can happen for this young team is getting to the playoffs...When they lose, if they are hungry, you will see young players working hard in the offseason to get better...Imagine this young core going home with a chip on their collective shoulders to get better...

Aguire wasnt great defensively by any means. He was on some great defensive teams with the Bad Boys but he wasnt great defensively individualy. I really wish Isiah would consider bringing Patrick or Oakley in to work with Curry, frye and Lee defensively. Isiah seems afraid to do so for some reason

It's an interesting concept, Aguirre and Curry. Aguirre was one of those kind of slow, slumbering like players, especially in college, but he also had a fluidity about him, that made his jumpers on the money. I suppose it would make sense for Curry to improve, on the offensive end, being around Aguirre, but if I recall, Aguirre wasn't exactly a bump in the road on the defensive end either. I think once you plug up one end of the ship, then it makes it that much more easier on the other end. I beleive Aguirre can do the job in teaching Curry some defensive skills. I mean there are more than enough people to do that in the NBA. Find the mans strengths, by finding and iimproving on his weaknesses.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Doubtful. Lee is one of the guys that benefits from Curry getting so much attention. Lee is out muscled by some PFs. I doubt he can bang down low all game with Centers. Why am I not surprised that you feel the need to quote the Knicks biggest hater in a thread that is positive about Curry?

I think Oak would be great in the locker room and coaching some Defense..Even Patrick for that matter..But I think of Oak first because he brings that attitude that is missing on our front line...We are missing a certain toughness playing Defense and rebounding...No one boxes out anymore...Who can teach Curry to box out better than Oak...But I think Oak is working with Charlotte...His Airness is his boy..

let's say frye is the center and lee is the pf, you don't think lee can get 20&10 if given the ball 20 times a game?

nobody knows the question to that. steph was 20&8 and didn't win. SAR was 20&8 but didn't win. zach is 20&10 but didn't win. i wouldn't consider what we're doing now as technically winning. and what would the difference be if it was eddy or lee getting those #'s?

I doubt Lee will be able to shoot 58 percent with him being the focus of this offense..I guarantee you his rebounding numbers will drop drastically...

I wont ever under estimate Dlee but I dont believe he is a 20ppg guy at this point. He wasnt in college either. I hope he can at some point as well. What does that have to do with Curry improving against double teams? Thats the basis for this thread. Do you want me to put Dlee down? Its not going to happen. Dlee is one of my 4 favorite players.

DJ I think you hearing anyone be happy at Curry improving at anything is like exposing dracula/vampire to light. You just cant take it.

In our 18 wins Curry averages 21.6ppg
In our 24 losses Curry averages 17.3ppg

Seems to me Curry scoring over 20 does indeed help us win.
