I haven't heard anything but H2O rolls off the books after this season..He has not closed the door about coming back..How is his health currently, have anyone heard anything..Is he really done?..If this guy can give the Knicks 70 percent of what he was, it would be a great help...Does the Knicks have a shot if he decides to come back or does he have to or want to sign with another team...I would imagine he would almost play with the Knicks for free given what was paid to him over the years...Any word?

I'd love for him to play but he isnt coming back. Just wishfull thinking on his part and fans part. His contract is over after this year.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I thought I'd never have to hear about that guy again. Thank goodness we've finally washed our hands of that contract. Sorry, but what a waste that was.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Yup... he'd be the perfect 2 guad on this team, but its not going to happen.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

If he came back, he'd be what Steve Smith was to the Spurs. He just wont play a lot. Plus, you can just tell when he's interviewed, that he's not gonna come back, but who knows.

I want the old Allan Houston to come back just as much as anyone, b/c God knows we need a player like him. Someone who can actually bring back a good brand of basketball. A guy who can hit a shot, come up with a big basket, make the right decision when the ball is in his hand, and be a leader for his teammates. However, the truth seems to be, the day of the H2O has come to an end.

Our defensive problems are bad enough... If Houston were to ever come back it would only exacerbate the situation.

Yeah, but this isn't the Spurs.

Let's forget about 100 million dollar man and move on. He was never worth all of that and worse, was always injured.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I bet if he did sign with a team...................... it would be the pistons.

I'd rather see Spree myself-
I would recommend to Spree to pretend to be "born again" and make friends with Dolan- then sign for the veterans minimum.
I was ALWAYS a Spree guy over Al- but he did some dumb stuff like the broken boat hand and cursing out Dolan at the Garden. Oh- and "feed his family".
But it's America! 2nd,3rd and 4th chances for celebs. Anyone know what Spree is up too?
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Let's not go crazy here. He had some very good years with the Knicks before the bad knee effectively ended his career. He played six full seasons with the Knicks, averaging 14.8, 18.4, 19.7, 18.7, 20.4 and 22.5 ppg in those years while shooting around 40 percent from 3-point range.

Houston was burdened by that stupid contract as soon as he signed. Of course he was not worth all that money, and the fans let him know it. But don't blame him; blame Layden and Dolan.
