cuz after this game its pointless

no "frye is not this"

"crawford is not that"

"curry cant do this"

It means absolutely zero. This game was all about confidence. We were darn right SCARED thru a good part of it, the nets were just taking it to us like an older brother. It has absolutely nothing to do with what kind of players we have physically.. we just have to get more confidence. its about heart, soul, effort and that experience we lack.

so stfu wit the we need ray allen **** tonight, its not the night for it, not after this one

if we played with focus, energy and CONFIDENCE thru the WHOLE game tonight.. we woulda whooped this team. They are just the older brother right now. We are going to need some breaks to get over that hump

I can't agree with you more...It's all about confidence...We let the Nets dictate how the game was played...I was saying this through out...We just didn't establish what we wanted to do there...

Agreed.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I also think this team gets too many practices off for a young group that needs to learn.

would have liked to see balkman for a stretch, but cut down on a bone head play here and there and hit a few more free throws...but the nets missed 4 straight free throws...I wanna play them again tomorrow!

great game...so close to top 5 team in east, but we have to come out on the winning end of games like this and against the wiz...almost different season we get these two wins.

tough...gotta shake it off and head into indiana.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Agreed, confidence is needed. I think they do have confidence though, they wouldn't come back if they didnt. they could have tanked it. That being said, no excuses, both teams were playing like garbage. NJ adjusted better than NY. NY didnt make the adjustment until 4:00 minutes to go when Marbury started to take the game over. We needed that early in the 3rd or 4th. Eddy Curry can't do it every night especially when the opponents defense is geared toward stopping him. You have to have a backup plan, ours failed with Jamal shooting terribly.

Yeah we did look a little unsettled, especially Curry. You could see it in his freethrows in the second half. Eddy has been making freethrows of late but tonite, he not only missed, but missed baaaadly.

Props to Steph though. He stepped it up nig time dosn the stretch and took it right at Kidd.

It was a 1 point loss with 2 seconds on the clock. The nets hardly destroyed us. We are coming around. Rome wasnt built in a day. Its heart breaking for sure. The Refs were horrible and I rarely say anything about the refs
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

We needed to play balkman more in that game IMO. He could have guarded Jefferson and he has no fear of anyone. He would have brought the energy we lacked last night. FREE BALKMAN! SIT JEFFRIES!
Trust the Process

i couldn't agree more. isiah is a f'g idiot. he pays huge prices to useless f**k's who he then has to play at the expense of good young talent that he drafts.

This team is in such a tough situation, you feel compelled to make moves every offseason, but we really don't need jeffries.

I'm waiting to see this team make a move that shrinks the bench and the payroll... That would indicate that this team has truly figured out where it wants to focus and that its on the brink of contender status.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
