Dunleavy and Murphy were the YMCA Boyz. You know, they're on your team in the pickup game at the Y, and you say, "You dudes are tall, would you mind going inside and getting us a few easy buckets, so we can keep the court?" And they say, "Dude, like, we're shooters. We park at the arc. Here, help me tie my headband."

Dunleavy was a mistake from the start.

Here's a story I heard from a reliable source: Murphy sat out the final game last season with a leg injury. He then confided to some that he could have played but took the night off to protect his rebounding average, which was at 10.0, because his contract called for a bonus if he averaged 10 boards.

That's not the type of player the Warriors need.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

About Dunleavy: As reader Richard Bittner noted, "He has to be the only coach's son in the history of basketball who can't shoot."

Thats cold!!

So what's the "real reason" why Pacers traded harrington and Jackson for the two beachcomers.

Did ownership desperately try to appease the locals getting rid of two hood guys for nice ymca looking guys?

That's disgusting...
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
