I don't know if anyone is watching any grizzles games, but I think Jerry West set this team up for a long time with the trio he drafted......

I love what Balkman brings, when Isiah is smart enough to play him, but this kid is going to be an absolute beast and bruiser and would have fit perfect with Curry and Lee for the next 10 years. Collins seems to be a waste since we didn't need to draft a pg in this draft, but Isiah really dropped the ball not taking a chance on this guy. 6'10 athletic, strong and can intimidate.

I would have also opened the door to move frye for a 2/3 something this team really needs......

I know there are some Frye fans here, and i am not one of them, just because as lee improves there is going to be no time for frye, and we already invested our future in curry......

I know this is a little off topic, but the kid is going to be a player.......

Johnson would have also made Lee hard up to get minutes.

So you are talking about trading Frye before the season?

I like the idea. I like the idea more it the move was for Josh Smith and we moved him to the 2.

smith is a star in two years, i aggree loved the kid for a long time, if zeke just thought with his head sometimes we would be in great shape......still would take Bynum over curry, to build towards a championship, that kid shows unreal promise

Hind sight is 20/20. At the time of the draft, Frye had just been coming off a terrific rookie season, unfortunately shortened with the injury. Many people would never have dreamt of trading Frye.
Besides, what's wrong with Mardy? Good hitmen are hard to find these days. After he gets a few more under his belt, he may be ready to seek out the Philly front office.

isiah has a vested interest in the following:

steph, craw, frye, lee, balkman, and curry. (nate is now on the outs b/c of his behavior)

this is unlike the situation in toronto where colangelo traded babdick's pick of charlie v. one season after finishing 2nd in ROY for tj ford.

somebody else would have to make those type of moves b/c i don't see isiah doing it.
