Just one thing tho...How is this racist or Demeaning to David Lee?
Just do me a favor read it again..I omitted Berman's interpretation of Isiah coment and just posted what Isiah said according to his blog..
"It was good to see him take that shot, "Once he gets enough confidence where he can make a foul-line shot, and we can get Jeffries, they can make foul-line shots, because Eddy's doing a great job drawing double-teams. The 15-foot shot is going to be there for those guys. We'll spend a lot of time on it. I was happy to see both of them take that shot. Even though Jared shot an airball and Dave damned near shot an airball, that shot two months from now is going to win us a basketball game down the line.''

this is what i basically said, if u saw the interview you will see that isiah actually was praising lee throughout the whole interview
berman always had an agenda against zeke
Even reading Berman's blog I could tell there were things IT must have said that Berman was leaving out. This is all media hype. Berman and the other media hounds look at places such as this site and see that everyone talks about Lee. So how do you create controversy. Hmm, let's make it so that IT does not like Lee and does not start him because he is trying to justify Jeffries. All you have to do is omit the positive statements that IT makes about Lee and highlight the negative statements, and the result is you get fans calling IT racist for not starting Lee. Everyone grabs papers trying to read what new slight IT has said against Lee today, and Berman and his crew stay happy.
The whole thing is really pathetic. IT drafted Lee and plays him about 30 mins a game. He gives Lee every opportunity to shine. The reason that he does not start Lee is two-fold. First, there are holes in Lee's game. Lee cannot guard SFs and sometimes gets overpowered by PF. Plus, Lee does not have Fyre's jumpshot, so when Curry passes out of the double team, that is one less option for the offense. Second, Lee is vital to the second unit. Lee is just as effective coming off the bench as starting and provides energy to the second unit. In IT's mind, there is no pressing need to start Lee. You might disagree with that but this attempt by the media and some fans to create this great controversy over this issue is blown out of proportion. The last thing we need is these players to start becoming jealous of each other over minutes and dwelling on this issue does nothing but fuel the possibility that will occur.
