No it is not. I've been saying for awhile that Jeffries is being completely misused right now by Isiah. Jeffries isn't a starter in this league but he's definitely a good roleplayer who should see 20-25 minutes a game where his defense is needed. Jeffries also shouldn't be touching the ball anywhere near the perimeter. His offense should come from slashing toward the hoops as well as offensive rebound put-backs. Until he's used properly, you are going to think he's a terrible player but I've seen this guy play when used right, like Mike Davis did at Indiana and he's a good player. Isiah has to figure this thing out though.

I think starting Jefferies and QRich at the wings is the best move for our defense.

As long as Jefferies is only playing 20-25 minutes, I don't care whether he starts or comes off the bench.

The keys to this team are: only play 8 guys, establish Curry, play big guys like Q and JJ on the wing to guard the 3ball and make sure Lee gets 30+ minutes a night.

Remember Jefferies is still only in his 12th game or so, he's still warming up. He will get better. We absolutely need his perimeter defense.

No. Lee should start. Jeffries should be a situational defender.

Totally agree with your statement. If he's getting 20-25 minutes a night, what difference does it make if he starts? In crunch time, use him as a situational player.

I'd rather Isaiah brought him off the bench, but if his minutes are limited, it doesn't matter very much.

Yeah I don't care if he starts or comes off the bench. That stuff is overblown. We do need to understand that he is a good situational defender and not a stopper. If we use him in this role he will really help us. Otherwise he will disappoint us and we will boo him for not reaching an expectation that he is unable to acheive.
I just hope that people will like me

This can be true but the thing is so far Jeffries perimeter defense has not been very good so far

Jefferies is the equivilant of a left handed specialist in baseball. Throw him in there when you want to give a guy a different look on defense or if he is playing another finesse wing or forward(IE someone like Kyle Korver, Rip Hamilton, Boris Diaw)where his length may be a problem or an answer to his matchup.

I think with the way Marbury has been playing,:

Curry
Lee
Q
Craw
Marbury

would be the best lineup we got to put out there. I would use Craw more as a PG for the simple fact that by being in charge of initiating the offense curbs his chucking tendencies. Marbury would play a hybridish PG/SG like Wade does-since that what Marbury is anyway.

Frye, Jefferies, Robinson, Cato off the bench round it out.
