Were wiinning close games, 6-1 in games decided by 3 or less, 4-0 in over time games and were 12-2 when going into the 4th with the lead. I'm not sure this. Im pointing this out beccuase.

1) we lose a ton of close games when Chaney took over
2) we blew count less leads in the forth with lenny
3) with LB it was a combnation of both.

Call me an optmistic fool, but this team can win 40+ games, and Isiah is definately on his way to being coach of the year even he wins just 40 games. 23-21 is not an impossible task for this team.

Here's another tell-tale sign:

While we are losing at home to Charlotte, and barely sneaking by at home to Sacto, The Raptors ( one of the teams were fighting with for the division title) Are destroying teams they should beat like the Sixers, Celts and Bucks all on the road and should have beaten the Mavs. Not to mention the Nets are beating the Bulls on the road and just spanked the Pacers at home.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, we really need to step it up if were gonna stay in this race because the Rapts and Nets are playing really good ball lately.

The Knicks slapped the Sonic and Philly recently too. The Knicks can lose to anybody and shown it, but they can beat (Almost) anybody and shown it as well.

They are taking teeny-tiny steps in the right direction. And the journey of a thousand miles begins with one teeny-tiny step.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

We have played better than 500 ball for a month. I dont see any reason why 40-44 would be a foolish thing to say.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Even though 40 wins is still a losing record, 25-20 the rest of the way. It's doable but we have to start beating who we're supposed to now.

I dont think those numbers add up to 40-42. I think it would be like 23-20 since we are 17-22 now.

Yes 17-22. Sorry but going 25-20 would make us 42-42. We only play 82 games and he said 40 wins. :)

True. But your math is off too. It's 23-20 to a 40 win season. :)

LOL I know I changed it. My math wasnt off. My loss number was incorrect. I guess we better stick to hoops. :)

I think we all agree the team needs to step it up big time. their playing well, but they can play better, it's encouraging to see everyone healthy on the floor.

Sac has lost 5 games in a row coming in to the Garden.

They don't have their starting center. A good one also.

Bibby is hurting for sure.

And we barely banged this one out.

Im watching, im rooting, but im not freebasing the Kool Aid yet.

Does this thought process apply to when the Knicks were missing significant players: Frye/Q, not to mention Jeffries/Francis? Or when Marbury was playing hurt?

one of the biggest differences has been the ability to close out games.

with the early leads, the knicks have developed a personality that they CAN win every game we play.

that's the mentality that did not exist until this year's coach.

it's refreshing to see this year's coach validate the GMs moves.

go knicks.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

i predicted 36 wins at the beginning of the season & looks like they're on pace to get that mark right now... the team's been playing better of late so maybe they can win a few more & take this mediocre division this year... whatever record they finish w/this season, i'm still happy to see the improvement in Curry & D Lee's play... they give me some hope for the future, which hasn't happened in a while.

We got better with less players. We are very deep and Isiah is bent on playing them all.

I long have called on a rotation of 8-9 players and let them get into the rythem. Especially Crawford. Franbury was a joke! Crawbury with minutes works!

And no Nate is a good thing!
