jerome james: you know it's going to happen
marbury: well now it looks like that was the problem with lb and isiah all along now, doesn't it?

Larry wanted Marbury to sacrifice his offense for the good of the team and play defense.

Marbury told Larry to go F himself.

Larry wanted these selfish players waived.

Isiah and Dolan told Larry to go F himself.

Larry wanted Isiah to acquire and focus on more defensive minded players, specifically mentioning how he liked Balkman and Jeffries.

Isiah tells him that he has to make due with what he has because it's good enough and to go F himself.

Larry gets fired.

Isiah wants Marbury to sacrifice his offense for the good of the team and play defense.

Marbury at first chafes at this but realizes that he has no more excuses so he starts doing what he's told.

Isiah acquires defensive minded players and tells us that since Jeffries is out, they're severely disadvantaged and it shouldn't be any surprise if we're not good enough without him to win some games.

Isiah waives the mistakes that Larry wanted waived.

Anybody see a pattern here?

You have to lift your head out of the ground to see it.
