Rumored Trade Between Atlanta, Portland, And Washington

Atlanta Journal Constitution -
Sekou Smith of the Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that the Atlanta Hawks , Portland Trailblazers, and Washington Wizards are discussing a multi-player trade.

The rumored deal would have the Blazers sending Jamaal Magloire to the Wizards who would send Brendan Haywood and Jarvis Hayes to the Hawks while they send Lorenzon Wright, Salim Stoudemire, and Esteban Batista to the Blazers. [READ]

The Blazers are just making trades for the sake of making trades lately. This trade does nothing for any of these teams.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Trade helps Atlanta the most, it seems. Magloire could pay off for Washington.

Portland, it makes no sense at all, unless they're saving cap money and getting a pick or something.

Me and DJSu surmised that the trade may in fact be for JOEL PRYZBILLA, not Magliore.

Why you ask...the Blazers want to clear cap space and this would allow them to reduce a five year contract in Pryz, while Big Cat is expiring (why give him up?). Plus they get an exp. SF in Hayes to start (Martell isnt ready). Salim replaces Juan as designated chucker off the bench.

Washington needs a defensive center and you can play Etan thomas at PF next to Pryz (its only an extra year on the contract).

Atlanta gets Haywood (an upgrade over Lo Wright and ZaZa aint no starter) and Juan Dixon (to replace Stoudamire).

They might as well keep Maglories Birds rights and sign and trade him if they are going to take back Woods, Salim and who ever..........

Stuff like this totally pisses me off about the nba. These dudes make millions all around and they just make stupid ass moves.

That's why I hate paxson of the bulls. Yeah his team is winning but his roster is seriously flawed and then he drafts, trades for, and signs redundant players. Fuck paxson. Lucky piece of ****.

Anyway I don't like this trade, lol.

Are you talking about Joel Przybilla? He isn't out for the season. He just played 13 minutes on the 7th and didn't get injured
