Looks like he might have hurt his amature standing by accepting a
50k+ Hummer from his Mom which she got from a bank loan.

I don't see how this hurts his eligibility. His mom took a loan out and bought a car. If you can't accept gifts from your parents, then that's ridiculous. I know a bunch of high school athletes in the affluent town next to mine where kids drive BMWs and Mercedes, and who wouldn't give LeBron's mom a loan, in 6 months the kid'll be a millionaire.

have to agree with you here. It's almost absurd that the NCAA is raking in money but won't let its athlete share. Same with high schoolers - LaBrons high school is charging extra admission, why shouldn't he get some of that?

Lebron gave up eligibility a loooong time ago. All these goodies are coming because of a pending sneaker deal. Lebron will be a millionaire well before the ping pong balls rattle.

Lebron already has an insurance policy so whats the big deal. I think getting was stupid, X5 is much nicer . Pleany of kid smy way got cars for graduation. My friiend got an x5 (hottest truck on earth) and the other got a Lexus GS400. I could never afford these until I become GM of the Knicks but if you got it, you got it.

I saw Mr. Puffy Combs driving a Hummer the other day...and I was just saying to myself: 'If I see one more &^$# Hummer....!'

And here we are - one more Hummer.

Whatever happened to real estate? lol You'd better not be driving a Hummer but living in the projects...Although that would even be remedied with the rookie contract. Let's hope he stays uninjured-
