I think almost all of these can ACTUALLY be dramatically improved. His defense may always be somewhat poor, but the rest I think he has the ability to improve.
FT% - This in particular I think he has a huge chance to improve. If you watch Curry shoot a free throw, his form is actually very pretty and smooth. It's all about FOCUS. You can tell some times he just goes through the motions and sometimes he really focuses on MAKING it. If i were a coach, I would try to get him to bend his knees a little bit, but all he really needs to do is practice IMO and he will get better. It's not like Jeffries where his form is just totally ridiculous and looks like he just cannot shoot naturally and will probobly never get it.
Shot Blocking - Curry has the timing, and the athletic ability to block away 3 shots a game on average. yes i said it, he does. If you look back at some of his old Chicago box scores there would be games where he was swatting 6 shots etc. He just needs to go after it MORE OFTEN. He needs to be more concious of how many fouls he has. Never should Curry end a game with less than 4 fouls. Its just a matter of further conditioning and constant effort to GO AFTER every penetrator.
Rebounding - As scott skiles said... "JUMP!" We have seen that when Eddy wants to, he can soar and rip rebounds out of the air. Its just a matter of does he want to. I can see him avg a few more rebounds a game I think most of his deficiancies are still about conditioning I dont think he has the energy/wind to assert him self on EVERY play.. He picks and chooses his spots to exhert energy (much like i do when i play ball, but thats cuz im not in shape.. if i was in better shape i would be able to exhert my self on more plays).
Turnovers - Kato said himself that they dont practice double teaming Curry so that alone says alot. He will always be a high TO Center but I think if the team develops a system that he is comfortable in and everyone knows their role he will improve here as well.
So in conclusion, I still think Eddys conditioning is a major factor, and next summer the Knicks really need to work on improving it even more. Curry should loose fat and GAIN muscle... imagine if he replaced his current chub with some defined muscle he would be un-real. Its all about dedication, and I think he is starting to learn that. Sky's the limit!

Definately. Curry has done a better job of avoiding some dumb fouls, but even before he gets into foul trouble, it seems like he's scared of picking one up. What we really need to do is reenact the no layup rule.

Rebounding is about boxing out, not jumping. Look at Paul Silas, Oakley. I think thats currys problem. I disagree with Skiles.

Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years.
First Leon move I hate

Certain aspects of rebounding are instinctual. A lot of basketball doesnt require conscience thougt. You see the rebound, you move to box out, you extend to the ball...not much thought required. I suspect good rebounders have had such fundamentals drilled into them from an early age. Curry obviously hasnt. Since he does have the strength and athleticism to rebound, and has shown the desire to improve his game, perhapos down the line he will become a good rebounder. Its going to require a strong commitment and years of experiance tho. I think he can do it. I dont think this dude has peaked yet.

I think he can improve the FT% easily. He's clearly much better than he normally shoots. Turnovers will come with time and have gotten slightly better recently.
Rebounding has improved slightly this year and will probably continue to improve slightly. Shotblocking and overall defense, I don't know. I think he can improve over time, but I think he will always need an enforcer to play with. He'll never be a Duncan on defense, but I think he can do the sort of things Dirk has started doing where he can be effective inside a team concept for defense.

boxing out is technique you have to learn. Once you learn it, then it becomes about effort. You can get some rebounds by jumping high, but that only gets you so far. All the great rebounders know how to totally cut off their man. When I play, I know when somebody really knows how to box out because no matter what I do, I can't get closer to the ball. Eddy definitely has no idea how to box out. They'll teach him, and hopefully he can use his wide frame to get 10 boards a game.
Also, I don't see Eddy as especially athletic in terms of jumping ability. He's very agile, but that doesn't really help him with shot-blocking. I don't think he's tall enough or has enough hops to be a great shot-blocker. 3 blocks a game is asking way too much.

isiah is dumber than i thought if they are not practicing sending doubles at him, what is wrong with this coach, you need lee and cato on him everytime he get the ball down low. How is he going to learn, we can't afford to have him learn soley during games

Boxing out is a concept that has to be excepted young. You can learn it but its something that has to be caught on early. Its very instinctual.
Curry would be awesome at it but right now he just learned how to stop picking up offensive fouls. I said before that this dude is a quick learner. This development is on the coaching staff.
Its very obvious that "jump" is skiles answer to rebounding. That just proves that every other coach curry had just wasted away what they had. Curry wasted the first good years of his career.
Isiah and the coaching staff should get their credit for what curry has been able to do this year.
The real retard is channing. He is just a roamer out there if he is not spotting up. He has no concept of boxing out or HIS POSITION at all whether that's center or power fwd. Everything he does is by accident unless its a jumpshot. Fuck channing frye! I wish the knicks would trade him to hell!
