Well I believe we should try and get extra picks in the 2007 draft just like we did then.

Shooting Guard prospects-Brandon Rush, Morris Almond, Nick Young, Daequan Cook, Rudy Fernandez
Smallforward prospects-Thaddeus Young, Bill Walker, Corey Brewer, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute

Suns, 6ers and Pistons have extra picks this year........ so that means there are two teams we could trade with. The knicks could get their shooting guard and small forward for the next ten years if we get an extra pick and make a right choice. Isiah has done it two years strate, year three could be the most improtant!!!!!!!!

Curry/Frye
Lee/Frye
Thaddeus/Balkman
Brandon Rush/Nate
Crawford

Would be a very bright future....

not mortaging our future on guys like Curry, Steph, Mo Taylor and Francis, just adding picks and having $25mm in cap space this off season would have been a bright future as well

I'm with you.. but we have too many guys. Who do we waive next year? Who do we bench to get these guys playing time?

Who would I wave???? Rose,Cato,JJ, we don't need them. This is a good draft for exactly what the knicks need, a NBA Shooting Guard and a NBA Smallforward. Crawford, Q and JJ2 can be out when these guys were developed. Marbury and Francis should be out reguardless. We made a trade for Curry, Lee is looking great, let's move from that point on....

If you know this is a good draft then don't you think that every GM in the NBA knows that and is trying to improve their draft status instead of giving up picks and position. Aside from Isiah of course.

Depends on the team, as I pointed out the end of the draft is packed with shooting guards and Small forwards. If you are the Pistons or the Suns do care to try and develop a shooting guard when you are a title team????? Probably not, they have extra picks we should try and get. NoBody is trading out of the Lottery this year, you are thinking about last years draft.
