given that we're 1-3 on the trip now, then 2-3 is a lot better than 1-4, which i think is what marbury was getting at in his bumbling kind of way.

this road trip was NOT acceptable. sure the record may turn out OK for a tough stretch of games, but were we even trying in those few games?

marbury's MO here has seemed to be lackadaisical play followed by a few furious Starbury games to make up for it. not bad, but not winning basketball.

I think Steph should not be allowed to talk to the press on his own, firstly.

Secondly, 2-3 on the road isn't bad, yeah, but like it's been said, aiming low just isn't cool at all. I know we have to scratch and claw for W's right now but this season we shouldn't be striving for "not bad".

Michael - the undercurrent of resentment that many people have towards athletes, like Marbury, who don't conform to their perception of what a ballplayer should look and act like.. that the venom spit in his direction for that privledge outweighs the actual intent of his comments.

Can i once again clarify that this post is not meant to be a bash on Marbury... More of an example of the attitude of the team created by ISIAH. Aim low.

Is the attitude of a Renaldo Balkman, Channing Frye and David Lee that dismal that you can only see failure ahead?

Mardy Collins takes one for the team and you see no passion?

A total newcomer, fresh off an injury... Jarod Jeffries, tries to chase down a Denver player where just two years ago the entire knicks squad was scared to look Latrell in the face as he cursed the Knicks bench?

If you guys resent the Knicks basketball that much why not simply switch to hockey?
