I'd do any of the Sacramento trades, or the Portland trade that brought back Dickau.

I don't think New Orleans would give up on Chandler so soon, he's their main rebounder and shot blocker.

I would do Frye/Jeffries for Artest, Garcia. We all know about Artest but Garcia really intrigues me. I absolutely loved his play at Loiusville, he's a good 3pt shooter(although his % doesnt prove it) he's got lanky arms which allows him to play the passing lanes very effectively. Given playing time, I think he'd be a pretty solid player.

Insert Q & Kenny thomas into the first deal and take out Garcia & SARs, then you got yourself a deal.

Can't see N.O giving up on Chandler already. I would be interested in Rasual Butler and Hilton Armstrong however. Butler gives us the perimeter threat from the wing we need.

The question is not if the Knicks would do it but rather if the Kings would even take a phone call from Isiah Thomas.

No but Isiah is all but considered a joke at this point by other NBA GMs we have no draft picks to offer so what GM in their right mind would want any of our players with the exception of maybe Curry possibly Lee.

THat is alittle bit too harsh. other then Marbury, Francis, and Jerome James, everybody on the team could be moved depending on what we wanted.

For anybody worth anything? Come on you cann't seriously think another GM would give up anybody with a fair amount of talent or a flat out good player to us? Especially when I have 29 other teams to choose from.
Every trade Isiah has made the Knicks have been the losers(discounting draft picks they received).
We have no bargaining tools left to offer anyone. Throw in the Isiah factor and that knocks off a good 10 teams not to mention other teams who would be very hesitant in doing business with Isiah.

Well as much as some other teams GM's have beef with Isiah, Artest or Odom would be knick if we gave up frye last season. Really doesn't matter what media says, If give up frye in any deal a good player is coming back. Plus we do have a pick this year, it's the bulls though.

I don't really going on what might have happened because you never know what goes on behind closed doors and unless the deal actually happens. Our less bargaining chip is in the Bulls hands right now that alone should get Isiah fired but thats another thread.

We can get a good player for Frye and might be able to get rid of jeffries at the same time. I would really rather have Balkman play the 3. He is no worse than Jeffires at shooting and brings more rebounds and shot-blocking. If IT were smart, he would get rid of Jeffries before other teams realize he cannot play.

I'd do the Sac trade, and would consider a deal with Portland if it was like Frye/James (instead of Rose) for Magloire/Outlaw.

You are saying Isiah is considered a joke by other GMs because of his lousy trades, meaning that the teams that the Knicks have dealt with have ended up getting the better end of the deal...so why wouldnt other GMs want to deal with a guy who obviously gives other teams great deals?

And are saying that Curry, Frye, Lee, Nate, Balkman have no trade value?

Id do the Sac trades, but you dont want Chandler...I watched a lot of Chicago games last few years (my roomate in college was a bulls fan) and that dude is dreadful...i havent seen to much of him recently, but I know that people from chicago cinsidered him a huge bust

not interested at all in Radio Rahim... the second trade is interesting though.

i wouldn't make either 1 of the POR trades... you should be able to get more in return for Frye than Magloire imo, & Jamal's a way better player than Dickau is... Outlaw hasn't proven much of anything either... we don't need him when we have Jefferies, Balkman & Q Rich playing the swing positions.

as for NO, unless the Hornets are giving back their 1st rounder in the deal, forget it... Frye & Jamal is too much to give up for Chandler imo.

But its like picking a dead carcass after awhile there's meat left to get so you leave it alone.

Sure they have trade value but would it be for anyone worth having probably not. Really only Curry, Frye, and Lee the rest of those guys are total role players nothing more. Why would I go after a 5'7 point guard who plays more like a shooting guard when I could very well get a 6'2 who can actually run the point? Balkman what exactly so unique about his game that would make a team clamor for him? He cann't shoot, cann't hit free-throws, cann't adequately play the 3 but is too small to play the 4 so again how this good trade value if thats what your suggesting.
