Jefferies offense makes me sick and his D is over-rated in my opinion. I mean the guy is 6'11 and can't block a shot. I don't like giving up Frye but to get a player of Artest's caliber you have to give something up. Luckily we have Lee to step in the starting line-up and do a better job.

Potential Line-up:

Pg: Marbury, Crawford
Sg: Q-Rich, Nate
Sf: Artest, Balkman
Pf: Lee, M. Rose
C: Curry, JJ

I would make this deal. Frye is soft and JJ can't play O.

Yes, Artest is a head case but maybe he is crazy enough to just want to be back in NY and playing at home. I think he could be the player that the team looks to. Marbury would be scared of him!

A lineup of Marbury, Q, Artest, Lee and Curry, in theory, has 3 borderline Allstars. Lee the Role player and Q the shooter. The bench is then Craw, Balkman, Rose and Nate with Cato and james filling in.

The bench gets weaker but hey the starters need to win the games.

Someone else mentioned this in another thread. I would probably do it even though I question Artest's stability. He would be a perfect SF for us. Great defense and has the ability to hit an open shot. A frontcourt of Lee, Artest, and Curry would be one of the best, if not the best, in the league. I, however, doubt the Kings would want Jeffries' contract. He would definitely have to waive the trade kicker and we would probably have to throw in some cash and maybe a pick. Plus, the Kings already have Brad Miller as a jumpshooting center, so I doubt they have a great deal of interest in Frye.

Frye would do well in Sac town- I could see them considering something of the sort.

Im sure if Nate was thrown in the deal it could be a done deal. If that's the case we may have to get another rotation player back.

We give up alot and take a big chance with Artest but Isiah has got to do something or else he's out of a job and the Knicks may be giving up the # 1 or # 2 pick in the draft to the Bulls.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
