If Lee wasnt worried about missing shots like Frye he would average about 15 points a game easy. Frye shoots the ball everytime he touches it. When your shooting 40% from the field for the year you would think you would try other ways to be more efficient. Lee passes up jump shots because he is afraid to miss. If he would shoot 51% instead of 62% and shoot when he is open he would average about 15 points a game. On a side note JJ is doing better than I expected he is surpassing all his career stats right now. What did Knick fans expect out of a man that cant shoot and averages 6 pts and 4 rebs a game.

I understand your point but that's some fuzzy math....So you're saying for an extra 4 pts you want sacrifice 11% of FG percentage? You're suggesting he make an extra 2 shots by taking 5-6 more...you can get better than that 40% elsewhere. I don't think the drop would be that dramatic.

I do think his jumper is better than most think, and he's a FAR better offensive threat by Jeffries. Jeffries has negative offensive value due to his poor FG%, FT% and turnovers. Lee is a good passer, finisher and efficient overall shooter.

I just think if you look at this team you say Frye is a great shooter, when he hasnt shown me he is this year. We have guys on this team taking all the shots and making about 40% of them. Something has to change on this team or it will be a long year. If everyone on this team actually worried about being efficient and do the things they can do this team would be much better,

if this team is banking on the return of q-rich, we're doomed. the guys back is shot and he's a poor perimeter player. he lasted the whole season in phoenix b/c he parked his ass on the 3 point line, shooting a blistering 39% form the field.

in ny, he did the dirty work and banged down low...not good for a guy with a bad back.

quentin's the leader of this team but i don't think he's going to be able to play for long stretches.
