The Starbury shoe thing is an old subject. I asked a relative to bring some from NY and low and behold I got home and they were under the tree. (we left before Christmas).

They suck!

I don't own a proper pair of basketball shoes anymore but I have some nice tennis and running shoes and the starburys suck.

No arch, no cush, they (twist), they suck.

They look decent. I got the black.

Where does a 40'ish white man where these things, I don't know yet, but i'll figure it out.

Have not been too much into the team of late but the standings are real interesting.

Dispite my love for all things starbury and Isiah, I am whole heartingly rooting for the team to win and make the playoffs.

Then I want Isiah to walk away thinking he has done something.

But I want a core of young guys to thing they have done somthing.

I also would like ron artest despite my previous stance, but he must come cheap. No DeeLee and no frye. I can live with Nate and jeffries as a core to trade. Naturally anything Malik works for me. Ron is Nuts, but so is Isiah.

Good to be back.

Yesterday I drove to the airport to munich at 115mph.

Today I won't.

Don't forget, the Suns play the Raptors tonight and Chris Bosh is expected to return. Basketball is back on UK baby.

I have the exact opposite reaction. I bought a pair for me and my 9 year old for Christmas. They feel the same on my feet as my Nikes. The only difference I've noticed is that the inside where tongue is the stitching is incomplete which does not bode well for long term use. I'm in the same 40ish age group and sneakers usually last me for a year to year and a half.

I am not totally qualified to annoint you to such an elite group.

By the way, did Y'all get to the game with Bonn1997? Wasn't he in town for a game? Did you get to meet him?

marv, fish, silver, guns, bonn and myself did meet up for the charlotte OT game.

bonn is a superstar but i was in shock when he said that he had no idea who C3PO was. so that whole BONN3PO went over his head.

I can't believe you of all people allowed yourself to be gimmicked on these shoes.

THey will be my new "painting shoes". For those messy indoor projects.

They look good, but they are crap.

If they feel like one's Nikes, do they feel like old nikes? Shouldnt a new pair of sneaks feel much better than a year old pair thats been pounded in?

Be like buying new tires for the car and they feel like the old tires. We get used to an old pair, but the new should feel much much better.

THe starburys feel like a pair of sperry topsiders I use to oil my deck with. THey are 15 years old.

im not being ugly, but I would not play ball in them. Let alone let my 20million point guard either.

If they look good and are cheap I dont see a problem if they are worn just as shoes not used on a court. I dont plan on buying any though
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I bought them because I needed basketball sneakers and thought you can't $15 price tag but they were absolutely awful. I had blisters from the flap which is this really uncomforable cheap plastic and blisters on the bottom of my feet from the lack of padding. So I returned them but I resently saw the black one and put it on. It looks nice and was pretty comfortable just as long as you are not playing in them

I believe steph made the sneakers for kids to go to school in them , he remembered having holes in his shoes going to school.

Kids won't have to get punked and robbed for their expensive Nikes anymore.

Someone should present Mabel's son with the "NOBEL PEACE PRIZE"
