i already posted this on another board but it is better to share with all. i checked out the nba draft site and saw some promising prospects in the late first round into the second round. if you know more information about these players please let us know. here they are:

david harrison- ranked higher than chris marcus only second to milicic for centers.

uche okafor- in the second round but the 7'0 nigerian ( sounds familiar?) is the most intrigueing of the bunch.

uche nsonwu- amadi- described as charles oakley in a center body.

earl barron- projected late second round pick. not any information about him whatsoever.

also chris marcus returned to action last week and plays tonight. we will see if he is healthy and playing well or not.

thanks alot for those updates man, much needed.

there are always alot of serviceable centers available in the 2nd round... that's just where they are picked, because their development usually takes longer unless they are a can't miss #1 or #2 pick in the draft.

however, nbadraft.net, the site you went to, is not really in synch with the draft lotto standings just yet. for instance, they have the french MJ, Michael Pietrius as the last pick in the first round of the NBA draft, when, he's probably going lotto or mid-first round at worst.

I am just hoping Scott can pull some 2nd round magic again this year. I think the Knicks will have a 1st rounder, and 2 second rounders, with Denvers being very, very high (almost like a late first rounder).
