The Knicks signed Allan Houston, Childs, and Traded for LJ. At the time there were rumours that they wanted MIller and were going to chase him. Who would you rather the Knicks signed, Miller or Houston?

reggie. him and ewing going for a title, plus miller's playoff heroics makes me think we probalby would've won a ring. when you have ewing, or any true franchise star, you try to win it all and must get the best player needed to try to win it all.

OT, but they also had three first round picks and Grunfeld couldn't package them for Nash or O'Neal.

I doubt that Reggie would have signed here. Max money is the same everywhere. He was loyal to Indie.

He would have been loyal to NY if they came knocking with dollars and the bright lights of times square. Miller loved to be center of attention, NY is only place for that, plus I think he knew he stood a better chance with NY to win a title than with smits. Ewing owned him

The biggest problem was the signing of childs. At the same time tim hardaway and kenny anderson were both available and both signed for roughly the same amount we payed childs. I really think our team out look would have been so much better if we signed either hardaway or anderson (esp hardaway) instead of childs. Childs was a backup vs. hardaway was a star.
