Crawford for Troy Murphy. Nellie likes guards who are versatile (point/2 guard hybrids) and we could always use a rebounder. Murphy isn't even starting for G.S. now. It works money wise. I would do it today. Both average 14 pts a game.

I do tell. Q Rich. We would be better if he played there to help board and maybe we can start Frye and Lee together then. Also, when Nate comes back, he can play two or point and Marbury whichever. Francis, hopefully, will get healthy sooner than later.

Only trades that interest me involve moving Francis, James, and/or Rose. Marbury if we can get good value... which we won't.

We need a rebounder badly. Murphy could be it. Plus he will hit the open shot.

What is D.Lee ? Are the knicks not leading the nba in rebounds ?

What about Balkman ? Does he not rebound ?

Please no more trades, let the team develop into something first, then we look to make moves.

Francis should be the first to go, not Jamal.

I think that guard is our weakest position, especially defensively.

I really think Marbury is worth more to this team than people are giving him credit. It looks like he is finally starting to play like his old self, even better he is playing better and eddy curry is still getting his. It looks like he has found his niche, he has been playing the best defense i have seen in a long time. He isnt causing the usual off the court distractions like before, it really looks like all the players like each other and like their coach. The chemistry is their, the talent is their, we just need to give them time.

Move Francis and James!

Murphy is constantly hurt, and while he has a very good outside jumper, a white KT if you will, Lee is at least as good of a rebounder, and probably better than Murphy.

Q is also probably done for good, can't rely on him for anything.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

We do lead the league in rebounding, but we're tied for third in rebounding differential (our teams rebounds vs opponents rebounds).

lol, yeah of all the areas where we need to improve rebounding is not one of them.

The bottom line is our front line of the future (Curry, Frye and Lee) has only one who is a good rebounder: Lee. It was a miracle we won that triple OT game with the Pistons when you consider they had 3 guys who had at least 6 offensive rebounds apiece (Wallace, MCDyess and Nazr).
