the guy scores in bunches. You don't trade him for a maybe NBA player. This guy is bobby jackson and earl boykins rolled into one. He can drop 20 on any team in the NBA if given the minutes. If given the minutes his game will round out. You don't trade Nate to make a player in decline, who won't be on the team in two years... happy.
I agree with this. Nate is a good three point shooter also. Nate also is good insurance in case of injury. He can fill in and you won't lose any scoring.
Collins is still a valuable player too. He is a good 4th guard to have for now. He hasn't shown much but a dude with his height, skills and age is great to have in the stash.
Stevie Francis is the guy that needs to be traded.
I agree with EnySpree here. Francis' body language the other night leads me to believe that he has to go. The problem that I see is his contract. Who is gonna want to take it on? I'm not sure anyone will. If we could move him, I'm game, especially in light of how Marbury and Crawford have played of late. Man, would Isiah love to have that trade back.
I like your thoughts though, Playa and think it's a valid point and something I hadn't thought of. BUT let me counter with the optimists take that maybe Marbury has turned a page and will realize that he needs a TEAM to win and that he can't do it alone. As stated by many, it certianly seems like the fight brought the Knicks together and truthfully, Nate was doing his best to back his teammates, even as poorly as he handled it. So, maybe Marbury can/will start to respect and appreciate what Nate brings to the team. Inlcuding things like firing up the Garden crowd, being that occasional spark plug and hustling all over the court. And maybe he'll go as far to embrace it. Embrace the TEAM. As an eternal optimist, I want to believe that it will happen but, of course, I'm not sure if it will. Marbury's psyche can be so delicate at times that I'm always worried about it falling back into a bad place and the Knicks need his head to be in the right place if they're gonna win.
"It was good," Curry said. "I killed Malik, Jerome. The usual suspects. It felt good."
