There is talk that when Q comes back he would be the starter over craw.

The question I want to ask is who is our go to guy? Crawford has had a hand in on every big win this season and since he has been here. Sure craw is a bad shot maker but so are all of the go to guys.

How many daggers does he hit when its money time? How cool is craw? Who can dance and prance the way craw can from the 2 spot? Who can run the team from the 2 spot?

I wanted to trade craw at one point. Now I'm just admiring his killer instinct. When craw has the ball in a close game the opposing team are starting to look worried and shakin in their boots.

He is becoming a straight up cold blooded assasin.

Jcraw is arguably our best guard but wont start?
D Lee is arguably our best fwd but wont start?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

i like crawford, but until his D improves it's tough to keep him out there with marbury and expect to consistently win. I think the reason we've been playing well is marbury's defense, so if he can keep it up crawford in the starting line up might work. but if marbury can play this kind of D with Q in the backcourt we might finally see a decent defensive effort

I thought Q plays the 3....Craw should start ahead of Francis...Q ahead of JJ...

He played very good def on Billips most of the night last night. It was rip that lit us up and Jcraw did not guard rip until the end

to me, it doesn't really matter who starts but rather the amount of playing time they get.

Rip was just on last night... they had Marbury, Craw, Francis, Jefferies & Balkman all trying to guard him at some point or another & he still lit them up... it was only when he finally ran out of gas in the second OT that he started to miss shots... i think Balkman probably did the best job of guarding him late.

On some teams thats fine but it matters a lot for us because when we dont have the right group on the floor to start games we end up down 20 fast.

Lets not annoint Crawford better than Marbury, more clutch yes, but when you have the oppurtunity to fire from half court and not be booed or taken out of the game, like Crawford its much easier to be viewed in a positive light.....

With consistent minutes Marbury is finding his game and much more in control, Marbury can lead the teams to more wins when he is playing his game

JCraw played a very controled game last night...He had a chance to get into the flow of the game picking his spots to attack...I think having him on the bench limits game...He did a nice job of ball distribution then turn it on in overtime...If JCraw can give you this more times than not, I think he needs the playing time...Excellent passes in the first quarter...

You're right on..Crawford has some nice clutch ability, but what bothers me about him is that crazy shot he takes and sometimes makes at the end of a game or in OT when you need it, is the same shot he is taking in the second quarter when you need more solid looks at the basket.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I can take David lee on the bench cuz of what he brings. Lee is gonna get his minutes. Knicks need lee to hang around till the end and Jared needs to be out there at the begining to set the tone defensively. When lee gets up the other team has to be like "oh know, I forgot about this guy". In that way lee off the bench is a weapon cuz lee doesn't need to get warmed up to be effective.

Craw on the other hand takes the knicks where they have to go. Francis doesn't. Q can play but he doesn't complete the backcourt the way craw does. Q should also come off the bench behind Jared and get some minutes behind craw.

Again craw and marbs to me are about as deadly as any backcourt in the league when they got it going. Marbs finally sees it and Crawford completes it, whatever marbs brings craw fills in and finishes. Its beautiful. They are not perfect but neither are the "best backcourt in the league" rip and Mr. Big shot. Rip got T'ed up and chancey chucked up a 3 when all Detroit needed was 1 point to win at the end of one of the OTs.

Go knicks baby. Don't be afraid to root for your team.

I don't think it's gonna really matter much whether we go with Q or Jamal at SG. We're still gonna end up with Jamal out there for important scoring situations late in games. Q is a great middle of the game player, but Jamal can be more useful late in games when you need players who can create their own shot. I don't care if Jared or Lee starts. They both bring things we need to the table and are important cogs. Lee tho has to keep getting HUGE minutes, cuz he's a highly productive Role player for us.

JCraw has had his minutes off the bench and as a starter but not always as a starter where you determine your playing time. I wont bash another Knicks player but I stand by my statement that Jcraw is our best guard...not only this year but last year as well

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

i've noticed when craw comes out shooting, he also comes out missing. their a beter team when marbury comes out agressive and craw comes out "swishing and dishing" then takes control in the second half or 4th qtr. all this ofcourse while not forgeting about curry. sometimes they make it painfully obvious that all they want to do is go to curry every time down, that's an easy double team.
