Seriously - This team may not be the Best Knicks team.. or even close for that matter.. But the amount of DRAMA... EXCITEMENT.. Sub-plots.. story lines breath taking finishes heart breaking defeats... I dont know, this team is PURE ADRENALINE.

I can't get enough... This season has been one hell of a rollercoaster... I have to say this team is carving a special place in my Knick-Loving heart.

Same here bro. I dont think its the most entertaining though. Let them win a few more. Once they are .500 which they can be by late Jan, they will be playing basketball.

I agree they are much more exciting when they are just playing hard and not whining about stuff.

The 1999 team with Ewing, Camby, LJ, Spree and Houston was pretty entertaining.

Wow.

A few exciting wins, okay... but aren't you the same guy who was completely bashing the team just a few weeks ago? Now you love them? If you sway that easy, what happens at the next three or four game losing streak?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Ever???? How about '69 -'70 or '73. Down by 18 points and scoring the last 19 points against a Jabbar(in his prime) team. Winning 18 straight games. Thats entertaining. Not just talent but entertainment.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Well, I don't know about most entertaining Knicks team, but I will say that the fans are getting their monies worth. These last few games have been pretty exciting. I was sure we had blown it with the Pistons but the team found a way to come back and win. You can feel the confidence growing with this team. They never gave up hope against the Pistons and they simply outlasted them. Think about that. The will to win of this young Knicks team was strong enough to outlast a veteran championship contender like the Pistons after 3 overtimes. That Atlantic Division title is becoming more and more of a real possibility.

The sexual harassment suit
Isiah out to save his job
Isiah out to save his basketball reputation
Highest paid team in the league
The brawl vs. Denver
Fran-Bury
Chicago has our first pick (again)
Steph's body language

You can add:
Marbury's relationship w/ Isiah
Isiah/Dolan vs their former "coach"
Channing Frye's potential
Balkman vs Marcus Williams
David Lee - the star/future-star
The Chicago 1st round swap (Curry vs the possibility of drafting Oden)
Q-Rich's return to form (and subsequent return to injury)
Jared Jeffries fitting in

just a little factoide to backup my claim
The Knicks became the first team in NBA history to play three triple (or more) overtime games in one calendar year, and they won all three (the others: Jan. 2 vs. Phoenix and Nov. 1 vs. Memphis in their season opener). The Knicks have won 12 of the last 13 games at Madison Square Garden that required at least two overtime periods (since Nov. 1983). New York's only double-OT loss in a home game over that span was against Utah on March 22, 1998.

I still wonder if we probably had a shot at beat the Spurs if Ewing were healthy that year.

Still though the looks on the Heat's faces after we knocked them out is something should be treasured by any Knick fan. :)

If this keeps up it will be though. 20 point comebacks, triple over times, Bruce Bowen, Coach Karl, the fight............ only thing missing for the movie is Samuel L Jackson.

The Championship teams were a blast to watch, and so were the `79 Knicks with Michael Ray, Ray Williams, Toby Knight and Bill Cartwright.
