Way to be politically correct with the phrasing!

Wow, that was mean.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

The positive is that he played 50 minutes, the negative is that he could only muster 7 rebounds. It seemed like his legs were in cement as Nazi was getting all the offensive rebounds.

I disagree.
Eddy did what he was told to do by IT - score and stay away of foul trouble.
We have other guyes to rebound - Lee, Balk, JJrs.
IT get all the best from all players today - they did the things that tehy are good at and mostly stayed away from stuff thay are not good at. Pistons is not a team to practice you game with.

Curry and Frye are awful at boxing out. Lee, Q, and Francis (when healthy) cover up their rebounding deficiencies.

Curry is definitely in better shape this season. Who knew - I guess being able to train over the summer DOES make a difference!

He might be in slightly better shape than last year but he's in much worse shape than he was in his contract year in Chi.

In his contract year w/ the Bulls, Curry didn't even average 30 mpg.

In the overtime periods, I think he could have taken away 1 or 2 of those critical rebounds that Mohammed picked up. Curry was very stagnant on offense-- looked tired.

0 fouls in like 50 minutes. Wow. Sounds like he's trying to bring down his fouls/min ratio.

And how about that assist to Marbury? :)

Curry's a weak rebounder... now there's a revelation.

he also dominated in the paint in the 1st half & was a huge reason for the win last night... but who cares about that meaningless stuff when he only grabs 7 rebounds?

Wanting Curry to rebound better doesn't take away from the areas he is excelling in. You've got to want to see him improve in the areas that need improvement and keep doing well in the areas he is doing well in.

Eddy Curry's offensive explosion has been the highlight of the season for me. I know you notice it but I dont see what people are afraid of. Hey, if he starts to suck again, we call him out again. He was fouling out the other teams front court. He took 15 effing FT attemps! can you believe that? 15! Thats 7 fouls in the act of shooting. Now imagine how many non-shooting he got us. He beats the crap out of the opposing teams interior D. Eddy is GOOD for the Knicks. Eddy Curry is not the problem. He can improve his rebounding, shotblocking and passing but right now, Curry is NOT the problem.

4 of the fts came when Curry was fouled rebounding the ball. He really did not get near enough shooting chances in the second half. The guards did not pass him the ball in the second half.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

what i want to see Curry improve in is his FT shooting... if he can raise his % to about 70%, we're looking at a ~22 ppg low post scorer... that's a rare commodity in the NBA these days... we have guys that can rebound the ball... i have no problem giving every loose ball to D Lee, Balkman, Q Rich & Jefferies, & letting Curry concentrate on doing what he does best.

Curry does need to learn to box out his man and keep his man away from the rebound. Then other knicks can get the rebound. Sounds so simple.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate
