Didn' t play last night due to sore knees. Has also missed time with a bad back. John Salmons started for him last night and had 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and four steals. Trade Malik's soon to expire contract (next season) and the NYK 2008 2nd rd pick to Kings for Artest.

agreed. They have high hopes from Artest and are actually talking about building around him. No way they will trade him.
