It will be interesting to see if JJ starts when he get back. In his three games the team defense was horrendous in two of the blow outs. If I hear IT say Lee is going back to the bench with the second team I will just laugh. The second team with Lee started off 5-10 to start the year. Put the players out there that win, and if IT goes back to 11 man rotation you will see chemistry problems again with this team.

D Lee might be the best rebounder in the league right now. He has earned 35+ minutes as a starter. I'd prefer to run with the line-up of Curry Frye Lee and leave out a true 3. What we need to do is set the rotation to 8-9--get the players ready at minute 1 of games- and if we go with the guys we have --make sure the guards play a complimentary role to the frontcourt- How is this team going to be good if the guy taking the most shots is shooting 35%? He's got to step up and look to increase his as#s and look for better shots.

Well Isiah can't play only 7 guys with an 8th guy getting spot minutes. He's gonna have to find time for Jared and Q. Nate will be the guy that gets his minutes cut or he'll take some from jamal. What i'm curious about is what happens when Francis comes back. Clearly we just can't have that many players who need minutes.

Steph, Q, Jared, Frye, Curry
Lee, Jamal, Nate, Balkman - Cato spot minutes.

Francis could take Nates and some of Jamal's minutes if an when he returns, but I think the guy deserves to be set free to get his own team.

I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I gotta say. To me, Francis is the odd man out. If I were coach, I'd go with the following re: avg minutes per:

C: Curry - understanding that foul trouble is a variable here, he should avg 32 minutes, Frye - 10 minutes, Cato - 6 minutes, Snacks - only garbage time, he's out of the rotation

PF: Lee - 35 minutes, Frye - 12 minutes, Rose - spot duty

SF: Jefferies - 28 minutes, Q - 10 minutes, Balkman - 10 minutes

SG - Craw - 26 minutes, Nate - 10 minutes, Q - 12 minutes

PG - Marbury - 36 minutes, Craw - 12, Francis - out of the rotation

The biggest problem is that when Francis gets back he's going to play. The fact that he has ZERO trade value is a huge problem because right now, there is absolutely no room for Francis on this team.

Lee would make a full-court shot with .4 left in triple OT against Chicago tomorrow and he'll still get demoted.

I don't know about that...There were quite a few teams that were interested in Iverson.

and although Iverson may be the better scorer..I feel that Francis is the better ALL AROUND player. The thing that hurts Francis is his inability to remain healthy for a whole season.

I agree that Francis is the odd man out...he is the one that needs to start at the 2 guard with Lee Frye and Curry, until Q.Richardson comes back.

Nate gets scrap minutes and Jeffries becomes 6th man off the bench.


Crawford is a exciting player...but he's not a starter in ANY team.
