Last night was a glimpse of what could be with our front court. They all complimented each other beautifully.

Frye 30 pts 2 blks
Lee 19 rbs
Curry 29 pts

Curry dominated the paint on the offensive end, Frye had the mid range game working (clearing space for Curry to operate) and was somewhat of defensive presence, and Lee dominated the boards and did all the intagibles needed to win (The Tip).

Some of you guys act like your gonna jump out of the window if Lee doesn't start. Its not a big deal, as long as he gets quality minutes. Frye and Lee are both interchangeable and can play at least 2 positions. Lee may not get 19 rebounds off the bench, but as long as he gets those critical rebounds or tips when we need them most, like when a team is making a run or we're struggling to put the ball in the hole and he gets us an extra posession.

We have a nice young front court that compliments each other nicely and the best part they are all 24 and under. Our froint court for the most part is set, we just need to clear some of the glut in the backcourt.
"Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.

Seriously there are more to games than just points, they all played very well last night, but we are playing against the bobcats we should win, although they have nice frontcourt and are learning how to win 2 of 3 can't defend anyone or get a big rebound.

Wallace had 28pts 6rbs 4ass 5stls
Brezec had 21pts 6rbs and took 10 less shots on Frye who couldn't guard him, the guy is a slow moving jump shooter, who can stroke it but he was killing frye
Okafur had 11pts 13rbs and 3blksthey can't defend and get outworked 90% of the time its not a good thing. The Knicks need to build a complete team and trading Curry/Frye can help them do that......You do not move Balkman/Lee

Dudwe outplay them, yes, but when you have to replace Curry/Frye late in games because for anything right now because they can rebound, play solid d if lee does not guard the furry....

And since Isiah doesn't know the value of the dollar see Cato over James; we are locked in at the backcourt for a while, there isn't an oppurtunity to move any of them, and god forbid Richardson back goes out we are in very tough position.....we need to add a legimate 3point three that can play defense and score, and the only way to do so is part with one of the bigs.......

Isiah has put the team in a tough spot minute wise, when Jefferies returns does he start at the 4? Balkman one of our biggest sparks doesn't play and lee and frye have to share minutes, the team is going to struggle to find itself when we have to insert, Q, Francis, Nate, and Jeff

I like the idea of starting JJ2, but I would make him the SF and move Q to SG. For all the love Lee gets, he is an average defender at best. JJ2 is a better on the ball defender and showed in his limited action that he can be a high energy steals, offensive rebounding, blocks type of guy. He is essentially a taller, longer version of Balkman with a little less hops but far more experience. I would start Marbury, Q, JJ2, Lee, and Curry and let Frye get his minutes backing up the PF/C positions, but I am not going to be overly concerned if Lee does not start as long as he gets 30-35 minutes. I think Frye has more game that people are giving him credit for.

Depth dude is only a tremedous luxury if your entire team is involved in a brawl, its nice to have solid guys come off the bench, but your best team is probably

Marbury
Q
Jefferies
Lee
Curry

Now you have to break up time for Francis/Nate/Crawford which is a tough spot for a coach to be in; Marbury is playing much better now that his minutes are extended. Where do you put Francis at the two he is not great off the ball, and Crawford is out of control except for when he runs the point, which he should do with the second unit.

He wants to ideally play his starter all big minutes, especially jefferies, you need to get Frye some time, but also should allow Cato to be active defensively for curry....

Balkman needs minutes and its absurd if the doesn't get them, especially if he can harrass the other teams 2's and quick 3's with his length.....

And the best five never play on this team, its all politics, Crawford will always get minutes regardless of how he is playing and isiah will never tell him shooting 39% is not acceptable stop taking threes and be the player you should be, drive and create.....

He has two many players that need to play minutes, and that even after he cut Rose and Taylor
Still wanna break up our front court trio?
