As a knick fan, would you rather have marbury driving to the hoop for a game winner, crawford doing his dribbling and launching a 3, give the ball to curry in the post, or pass it around and see if you can get a look with another player.

if you're asking me who i trust to make a tough shot in crunchtime, i'll pick Jamal over Marbury or anyone else on this team... you make it sound as if Marbury's going to even have a lane to take it to the hole on a big possession... most of the time it's a 1 on 1 isolation & the defense collapses on the penetrator, so you want a guy who's able to create his own shot & create space for himself to get up a perimeter shot... even Jordan wasn't able to penetrate to the hole most of the time in a last second possession... most of those shots are inevitably off balance jumpers or fadeaways.

get closer to the basket and try a floater or short jumper every once in a while not a fade-away 26footer

exactly why shot a 3 from 25ft+ when you are only down 1. if its a wide open 3 in rhythm than fine but come on! whats with the take 2 dribbles look up and chuck every time?!

Just be glad there's no 4 pointers. Otherwise, Jamal would be shooting from mid court.

How many times we see Crawford pull up and take that shot?

Its the coach callin that play, not Crackford.

Its same play they do for CrackBury and Special Nate Crackinson also.

It gives you the opportunity for a long rebound and another shot.
