Maggette Cassell Mobley--I guess it depends on what they want--but that is a boatload of fire poower in the wekest division in sports. If Sam C is healthy---that is enough firepwoer to get them right back in it--if thats what they want to do. If it's LB calling the shots, he probably doesnt want those guys--but if my job was on the line Id try to chump their number 1 pick as well and take the deal

Wow. The Clips really believe in Livingston.

I'd jump at that if I'm the Sixers. Cassell alone makes them better.

They should fire the LAC GM if that is what is being offered.

The funny part throughout all of this is Billy King's slow trigger. A team at any point can rescind their offers and the longer he waits he's setting himself up to get treated like a Dime-Trick-*** pawning away Iverson. Honestly I think GM's are putting out BS offers for Iverson to drop his trade value.

are you serious the clippers are not going anywhere and they get rid of three contracts, they are floundering, that is not a good deal for Philly who should concentrate on rebuilding their team through the draft and take a hit for another year

i don't think it's that great of a package w/o Livingston... AI is 1 of the top 2 or 3 SG's in the league... Cassell has about 2 good years left in him maybe, & Maggette is very injury prone while Mobley's a pretty average SG.

if i were the Sixers i wouldn't trade AI unless i was getting back a young talent like Livingston, or a very high lottery pick.

What would philly want with any of those guys? They're good players, but on a team like the sixers, they're just stop gaps. Maybe take em to the playoffs this year, but no further.

Philly needs expiring contracts and young players. That's it. Bite the bullet

You're probably right. But we have no idea what anyone if offering--there is a possibilty NO ONE is offering a package of youth and picks. then what do you do?

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Cassell, Mobley and Maggette, all good offensive threats and Mobley and Cassell even play a little defense. Cassell is older and has injury issues.
They're thinking of letting all these guys go because they know if they get Iverson, he'll want and need the ball. There would not be enough balls to go around if any of these guys are still on the team with Iverson there.

Maggette, Korver, Hunter, Carney off the bench....wow.

Good package for Philly. I that's too much. AI is great, but it kills their depth.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Don't forget this is Elgin Baylor and Billy King we're talking about here.

Id prefer Livingston two unrestricted picks ending contracts etc.. but the knicks have shot their load:) Seriously, is a team that stupid to give up the youth farm picks etc... with a 20mm$ contract? This offer from LA this is a $-$--now do I want Maggette Mobley Cassell[who maybe I could swap into other things?] or do I want Foye and a combination of lesser players? hudson Davis etc...? The East is VERY weak--thats a coup of players and if it doesnt work I just pawn them at the deadline because they ALL have value-- more than Iversn alone---because i can move them 3 different ways? get it?

dude you can get more, you are taking contracts back, i would rather take denvers offer with nenes contract.....

Miller
Smith
Iggy
Sammy
Nene

That is much better team long term as all three have upside....

Mobley doesn't have that much value, maggette gets injured too much, and i guess you could trade cassell away, but with that package there are no picks coming

No, this is Donald Sterling and and philly's owner decision. Blame them.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Cassell is a winner. He was ok last year health wise.

And how can you complain about health issues when Iverson, at some poing, is going to break down and not be able to go. He's incredible in being able to miss 2 games with a dislocated shoulder, etc- but at some point, that catches up to you.

YOu better believe Cassell is a winner. I still think the Lakers don't make it to the Finals in 2004 if Cassell were healthy.

Totally agree with you. They have Iggy, Carney, Dalembert etc...they should concentrate on rebuilding and shedding contracts. What would a 38yr old Cassell really do for them?

they'd reroute cassell to a contender. Philly doesn't want to be good this year.
