For a long time I have heard alot good things about Isiah from players. I have never really heard a coach (other than JVG and even he wasn't complimenting his coaching). But only players are complimenting him. Nothing from coaches. The only thing I am seeing is him fighting with coaches. I just wonder if he is actually liked around the management circles of the league.

Now granted that the coaches he is having the main problems with are LB's guys which is brings me to my real point. So far it seems that George Karl and Pop have really goaded Isiah into some dumb decisions. From threatening Bowen to threatening Carmelo. My question is it possible LB's guys are out to get Isiah? Pop seemed to play him like a fiddle and Karl seemed try to do the same thing.

Go ahead and start shooting holes in this conspiracy theory.

i think the stuff about LB - Pop - Karl connection is valid... it's natural to want to get back at a guy who did your friend wrong... i don't think it's an NBA wide thing that every coach wants to blackball Isiah... he's very friendly w/guys like Doc Rivers & Mo Cheeks, & it's obvious from Isiah's post game comments last night that he has a tremendous amount of respect for Jerry Sloan also.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

The Carolina Clique is as pompous a collection of self-annointed jerks as you will ever find ... anywhere.

Hell, Michael Jordan had the resources to change the world and what does he do?

nothing

George Karl, and every other so-called Tarheel, can go to hell

I understand. Some people don't want to hear it I understand that. But I really think it is something that can be talked about or at least brought up. Both times Isiah has done something that may or may not make him look really bad, he has done with coaches that have a strong connection to Brown. It's a coincidence that can't be overlooked. Fortunately, threads can.

The Carolina hate is no conspiracy. It's not even in doubt. But Pop is not a Carolina guy, right.

Isiah can kiss Sloan azz all he wants. Sloan I'm sure would want nothing to do with slimy Zeke.

Funny thing is, remember there were rumors back a couple years ago about Doc Rivers being brought into coach... well, he wasn't, obviously, but if he was, you can bet he woulda been canned by now, and he'd hate Isiah too.

good point about jordan, he failed on so many levels outside of basketball, and should have done much more to help people

Going by how he has treated the lat 3 coaches that have been here I would not doubt that there is an element in the league that does not like him.
I just hope that people will like me

it's happened before (jordan, olympic team, karl malone) and it's been happening ever since.

But he's got a college championship, two nba rings and is in the hall of fame.

So, he has some respect from some peers.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Isiah has lots of enemies before he messed with the Carolina connection.

UNC, Duke, UCLA int he 60's and 70's are all a bunch of pompus asses!

Thats what winning does by the way. Losing humbles you!

All that Carolina success must really suck!

Coach K is a real ass, getting what ever player he wants and making the final 8 year in and year out. What a bitch!

Yankees too, all that terrible history. Red Auerbach was a real ass also, all those rings really went to his head!

Winning is so bad for the image!
