Calhoun spoke about getting the most out of games and made reference to Saturday's Knicks-Nuggets brawl that might have started, in part, because Knicks coach Isiah Thomas was angry that Denver had its starters in with a late 20-point lead.

"There is no garbage time here," Calhoun said. "Never has been, never will be. I know in New York City, you're supposed to take certain players out at certain times. I thought you were only supposed to coach one team at a time
