Nate did most things wrong the other day, but I disagree that his only intent was to stir up trouble. If you look at the youtube or any other clip, you will see that his first move was to restrain Smith from going after Collins. At that moment he was not trying to fight but to protect his own teammate and stop the fight.

After that he was totally wrong with his swinging, but I like the fact he tore down Smith and was about to stomp him, trust me, this team needs an enforcer!

Don't accuse him of not being tough or lacking heart. He showed heart during the whole game and throughout his short career.

Please don't get me wrong, his behavior is immature and sometimes stupid.

Nate Robinson: Tough as Nails, sometimes dumb as a rock!

You know who that reminds me of? John starks!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

there was an article in today's post or daily news about him being a jerk.

as always, i took it with a grain of salt but it was interesting to read that he's already gotten into it with Jerome James and Malik Rose.

I don't have affection for either of them but if true, could be a sign that he might just be an ***

Nates problem is he feels the need to prove how tough he is all the time. He just needs to grow up and be a professional. No more fights with teammates. No more show boating. start listening to the coachs. dont get yanked from games with a minute left because you cant control your temper.

He might be a *** (I don't know what you wrote). Myself, I don't feel the need to personally like the players, because then I would have almost noone that I could root for. However, NR has always played with heart. In fact, if the whole team played with his heart (Not his antics) we would be a good bit better.

Lets not forget that Nate Robinson diddnt actually throw any punches... And he had JR in a headlock and could have swung/kicked but did not.. He just tried to get away

His antics not his heart are the problem though. :(

He's a kid, still somewhat immature, like most new young players in this league, he'll have to grow up and I'm sure he will. Emotions can get the best of most people. It's an unfortunate incident but he's a Knick and I will support him until he's not a Knick.

Nate is not a bad person, and it's good he wanted to stand up for his teammates. In fact, I bet he's a real good guy. But his actions the other night are inexcusable and he deserves to be punished severely.

He is too immature for a 22 year old father. I'm not talking about this brawl. I'm atlking about all his other stuff including to his own teamates and coachs.

Mardy Collins-Frustrated and had enough and lost his mind. Don't condone it, he should be suspended but at least I can understand it.

JR Smith-Gets dragged down from behind. Doesn't throw a punch but reacts like 100% of the players on teh court would have. At this point I don't condone the reaction but I can understand it.

JJ2-Sees his teammate sucker punched and reacts. Don't condone it, but completely understand it.

Carmelo and Nate. I can't understand any of it. Two guys trying ot look like tough guys I guess.
I just hope that people will like me

Nate is just a ****ing jack ass plain and simple......

I am sure it has been brought up, but he was talking about being disrespected by the nuggests starters being in the game, but he said last week he would only bounce the ball to himself with the knicks up 20 and try to dunk it, really its the same thing......

Nate is out of control under Isiah, he really is, selfish chucker, plays like a bonehead and runs wild out there........we love that he gets the crowd going, his speed, his toughness but Nate started the entire brawl by getting up in JRS face. If he tried seperating the players instead of getting things going the incident didn't happen.......

He is not a professional in all honesty, and thats his problem, he is a young emotional player, that needs guidance not the ability to just be nate out there

it's widely known as a "Napoleonic Complex"... & Nate's the prime example.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

My beef is really with Isiah. Call it effort, skill, whatever you want. The Knicks are as bad a defensive team as anyone in the NBA. We itimidate nobody with our hard play, so Isiah told Mardy or whoever to go deliver a cheap shot.

When your losing an honest fight I guess you can always bite an ear right?

Mike Tyson? I wish we were that tough/good! That would mean the finals!

Nate is an ***hole plain and simple. One with the intelligence and maturity of a 12 year old.

see... Tyson was *once* a champ. Now he's a has been loser with an ego problem that has no place in his sport and cant do anything right. When given a real challenge he resorted to cheating. Now you see connection?

that being said.

If he can use his personality to fire up his teammates and win games and continute to get better as a player. cool.

If he divides the team. not cool.

He does play with a lot of heart and has talent so it's not like he's a hopeless locker room cancer or anything.

I hope he becomes a better player and helps the Knicks get closer to a trophy...

I see your connection.

When Tyson bit Holyfields ear, he was fighing for the heavyweight Championship and was favored, you see the connection I am making?

What happened Fish, you broke your funnybone over the weekend? Maybe Isiah stole your joy?
