Watch the video at ESPN or anywhere for that matter -

Keep your eye on Melo thru the WHOLE fight.

You will see him pull a peace making Channing Frye to the floor and stand over him like a complete thug-taunting punk. CHANNING FRYE... One of the nicest guys in the league, someone who would do NOTHING but make peace, he was pulling NATE off of JR... and Melo slams him on the floor.. and stands over him??? Man, i wish Jeffries caught this punk ass

Melo is the leader of that team and was standing up for his teammates. No one looks good in this, but he didn't start this crap. Running away probably hurt his rep more than anything though. He shoulda had someone pretend to hold him back...

Man, all my friends love SU. I myself can't stand them. I was very quick to point out the video of last night. I didn't see that Frye incident, but I pointed out the backpeddling and Camby pulling his jersey back in.

Yeah Melo Made that puss move along with walking up on Frye when Frye fell to the floor lilke "What!". He backed down when Jared rolled up on him though. Check out the look on Melo's face when Jared was coming at him- I posted the pic in the Basketbrawl thread. He sure was outtta there by the time Camby grabbed his jersey.

Carmelo is definately a puss. I don't even understand what that was about.

I dunno if you guys talked about it but this is why the knicks suck. Frye and lee are the big men they should have been standing between Jr and carmelo enforcing. Back in the day ewing would have snatched Nate by his shorts and threw him to the side and cursed his ass out for poppin ****. At the same time oak and mason or lj would have been right in between all of it making sure something like that carmelo punch doesn't happen.

Jared was the main one in between. Lee was on the outside watching with frye just pulling guys away. Their faggot asses needed to be in the middle regulating it.

The knicks are puss. its not about fighting its about just getting in their and enforcing. Lee and frye are the good guys but at a time like that they need to be big men and strong arm the situation making sure its under control.

This is why we lose. Thank God for Jared.

to be fair, lee and frye are just kids. but leadership is missing from top to bottom on this roster and the entire f'n organization.

Now we definately know what the problem is. Everyone has always complained about leadership now we saw first hand what type of players we have. Nobody wants to step in and control the situation. Jared has only been a knick for 3 games? Already he is the leader? That is sad.

I don't agree with frye and lee still being kids. When are they considered men? If we have a team when the excuse for our big men not having balls is cuz they are kids then its over.

Knicks need players that will enforce and protect and regulate. All the championship teams have that. Zo and shaq would not let carmelo get near mardy to even think about it. Carmelo would have already been on the floor after standing over top of frye like he was a bitch. Duncan is a goodie goodie too but he would have been in the middle making sure nothing happened.

So when is channing getting traded? I think its a rap already I have seen enough of him.

All I gotta say is I'm glad Jerome James wasn't out there. That mofo might have knocked Jr and carmelo right out and ended that with the quickness.

Eny Q was out too, and he is IMO, the unquestioned leader of this team. I personally think if Q was on the floor too, there would have been no fight, because he woulda' fallen into that Ewing example just given. I gotta haven't kept myself trained on Lee, but he was in there, trying to reulate by pulling guys off. I think he was one of the main guys that grabbed JR before he tackled Nate.

In my opinion, you have to be in the middle and instead of grabbing guys you need to put yourself in between your teamates and the opponent.that is the job of the big men. They weren't in the street where someone could get shot or stabbed. In an organized game you have to get in the middle and protect your teamates. Period. That would have ended it.

It kinda was over until carmelo decided to bitch out. He only did that cuz guys were just pulling from behind instead of standing in the middle. Carmelo is a puss he clearly didn't want it with Jared. He clearly didn't want it with Collins either. I never saw anyone run that fast backwards.

That's my take on it. Isiah might have ordered the foul which was good in my opinion. It was a flagrant but not that bad. Nate made it worse by throwing his hands up cuz it wasn't that bad. Still that was squashed untill punk ass melo did he what he did.
