Suns Looking To Move Banks?
16th December, 2006 - 10:01 am
East Valley Tribune -
Phoenix signed Marcus Banks to a five-year, $21 million contract this past summer.

Now that he is eligible to be traded, the Suns may be looking for a taker.

The Suns will likely be looking for a proven shotblocker they can bring off the bench.

I doubt the suns would touch James' contract unless we threw in $3 mill and a 1st round draft pick. Plus, I doubt James would really fit their system. They are probably looking for a younger Steven Hunter type player.

Hunter uis the exact type of player I figured they would want, but I wouldn't trade Hunter straight up for Banks. A young shotblocking big man-even one off the bench is going to cost you alot more than Marcus Banks. Marcus is running out of chances and his value is REAL low. He is popping 3.8 pts, 1 reb and 1 ast per for the MLE contract he just signed.
