McCain would win in a landslide. He is taking the moderate democrats with him for sure. Hilary would do as bad Goldwater back in the day.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Don't know a ton about either but I wouldn't vote for Hillary just b/c she's a woman. I'm gonna have to do research on the people in the next election.

Obama.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

Why bother? Voting in any state that isn't a "swing" state is pointless. Your votes don't count.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

We should do another message board election. I thought it was funny as hell when you lost, Bip.

you're right but i would never take that view.

imho mcCain is another bellicose individual who seems to have very little flexibilty to his views and I really believe that this is a pivotal time for the world in general to avoid a major confrontation. i think we need a serious period of ramping down the growing dislike for the us from what looks like every single angle of the globe.

what do I see in Hillary--I see that we would gain bill back at a time when experience is truly key. i don't see any democrat even close to hillary in terms of experience and I feel comfortable that we would have a stronger team IQ with flexibilty experience and just the figure of a woman as a leader might quell the fire. think of pink walls in a jail

i'm intrested in seeing how this will turn out but it wont mean anything. this board attracts mainly ny, nj and ct. the real race will be ohio, florida and delaware. everyone else will stay red or blue.

Considering this is a NY based fan board and NY is the 2nd most liberal state in the country I think you might be surprised. add in to that mix that many Knicks fans are city people and that would spike the results even more. My aunt is a lifelong liberal democrat from NY. She always votes democrat but she hates Hillary and says she would never vote for Hillary. I have a feeling Hillary running will benefit Republicans. She is hated so much that Republicans would should as if their lives depended on it. Hillary might get 95% of the democrats vote but she would still lose in my opinion.

That's what I thought, but I saw a national poll a few weeks ago that had McCain ahead of Hillary by only 4 or 5 points. He was also 4 points ahead of Obama. I think 90% of the country votes for the R or D party regardless of who the individual is

No offense to all those who support Hillary - but she is far from the second coming of Clinton. I think people love the name and don't know much about her.

Rudy is planning to run too...I would throw him up there and Obama as well.

Personally I would rather see a guy like Obama or Rudy win.

Is this country ready for a black president? I think Obama has a shot. I also think Rudy might be too polarizing outside of NY but we will see - he is a popular figure.

If Hillary wins I am moving to New Zealand.

14-11 is disappointing. Does anyone listen to McCain--he wants to deploy another 50K troops to Iraq--this is the platform you stand for--after 5 years and 3k dead americans and 100+++K Iraquis you want a guy who could be worse than Bush? Pretty soon were going to have nuclear weapons sent itno our country-- is that what you are voting for?
