Are they the best 3-sum in the league? I think they are pretty close. Other great 3-sums include (zo, jones, grant), (tmac, hill, armstrong), (robinson, allen, cassell), (iverson, mutombo, mckey), (miller, rose, o'neal), (carter, davis, olajuwon), (finley, nowitzski, nash), (odom, miles, brand), (francis, mobley, rice?), (wallace, wells, anderson or stoudamire), (webber, divac, peja), and (duncan, robinson, smith or daniels). I personally think we are arguably the best with about 1 or 2 others. I think our big 3 will have a great season this year. Thoughts?

Yeah the Bucks do have a good top 3, but i'm still not convinced they're better then ours. Robinson and Sprewell are pretty even, but i feel Sprewell is the overall better player so i give a small advantage to him. Allen and Houston are both all-stars, but Allen is the obvious better player. That leaves us with Camby and Cassell and even though they play two completely different positions, Camby is by far the more valuable player. So when you break it down like that, it makes you wonder if they really are better. The Bucks will be a good team this year, but weren't any better then us last year and haven't improved while the knicks have improved a little. I think we are looking at third or fourth place in this years seeding and Camby, Houston, and Sprewell should lead us through a great playoff run to the eastern conference finals. It maybe a pretty biased predition, but i think our team can do it.

Tell you what, Kobe, Shaq and any scrub would make the best 3-some in the league.

This topic got me thinking. Didn't they have a 2-ball, All-star competition awhile back? Not the NBA-WNBA matchup we see now, but 2-on-2 with NBA'ers. And didn't Ewing and Starks represent the Knicks?

I have been a fan since 93' so I can't remember such competition. It would've been a pretty interesting one!

Martin is right: Shaq, Kobe and any of their teammates would be the best 3-some. Derek Fisher didn't do too bad during the playoffs did he?

I think Nash, Finley and Dirk come second, and Marcus, Spree and Allan come third.
We suck.

Hell, Shaq Kobe and my grandma would be the best threesome in the league......shaq, kobe and a crippled, blind deaf-mute leper would be the best 3-some....

I'm not anti-Camby, but for the past 3 years, all I've heard is how wonderful Camby is. How about a reality check:1) the guy plays soft; 2) the guy gets into foolish foul trouble; 3) the guy lets people get into his head; 4) 6 years in the league, and the guy still has not developed a go to inside move, particularly troubling for a player with no outside range. Let's recognize that Camby is a high energy player that can make great contributions in a limited 20-25 minute a night capacity, but beyond this, the Knicks need more consistency and contributions out of the center position.

MC has developed no true post-up game, because the Knicks have never tried to post him up. They never go to him. Until last season, he wasn't even an option on offense. He has spent most of his Knick career converting errant shots and making hustle plays, that has been his role. Maybe the added bulk will help him develop a stronger low post game, and the Knicks will go to him more often.
We suck.
