Who would be ideal as the next Knicks GM? I say we hire the Spur's GM and Coach.

which reminds me..if only we were in a position to tank for Oden the way the Spurs tanked for Tim when they had D-Rob.

Curry, Oden, Lee, Jeffries, Frye [Q?]

How's that for a frontcourt?

I agree with everything that article says except one. and thats the euro scouting. we've done just fine without making a conscience effort to draft euroes. like he said its worked out crappily for us before. not that im against drafting overseas players, but i dont think it should be a point of emphasis.

many of the Euro picks have been busts. SA seems to be the master at euro scouting, and everyone else seems to pretty much suck at it, with the notable exceptions of Pau & Dirk.

I guess you forgot about Peja, Biedrins in GS, UH HOW ABOUT Boris Diaw, Garbojosa in Toronto, Nene before injury ,Jaric in minnesota.

We need a good euro on the knicks roster, I bet that would make Stern happy.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Thank you, I was going to say... there are a decent amount of good Euro players in the NBA now. The problem is when teams draft a guy like Tskitshvilli or Darko too high, thinking he will be the next Dirk. However, we have that with US players too. Kwame was drafted #1, because the impression was he was the next KG. Tyson Chandler was drafted #2, thinking he was the next Sheed. Curry was drafted #4, thinking he was the next Shaq. Van Horn was drafted #2 as the next Larry Bird. There's tons of examples. Drafting a guy too high because he slightly reminds you of another player is not a Euro-related problem.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
