It didn't dawn on me until I went back and looked at the play-by-play. It was a 1 possesion game with 1:30 to go. I should have known the game was over by then.

No - the Knicks were in it until the end. They had two good defensive stops, unfortunately following them up with a stupid miscommunication between Marbury and Q which ended up in a turnover and just a failure to score the second time down. Curry was in position but missed a tip after a missed shot.
