We need a POWER FORWARD to put next to Curry and get rid of Stephen Marbury and that's it!!!

I leave Frye out because he is one of our most tradable assets we have and he is not the right guy to put next to Curry!

Lee is best as a 6th man!

Who ever is left trade'em to get us a Power Forward!

trade francis for the shortest contract you can get, he has no future here. for this team to truly be succesful down the line a starting point guard is needed, and he is not currently on this roster. if we are really going to make curry the focus of the offense every position is going to need to be adapted to matcht that, and Pf is certainly one of them. but add to it PG and an outside shooter, i actualy kinda like the idea of Q-Rich and Jeffries starting togethor, Jared's gonna come around, that block on pierce was nice to see last night.

we already have a PF, his name is David Lee... all we need is an athletic defensive minded backup C who blocks shots to replace Frye (sorry, Big Turd is not the answer & Cato isn't in playing shape either)... buy out Marbury, i don't care about taking the salary hit... the guy is just a poor excuse for a PG if there ever was one... let him sign w/whatever team out there wants him... the Knicks would be better by him simply being off this team IMHO... Francis is untradeable as long as he's got that knee tendinitis too... better off leaving him on the IA list until he can return & show some effectiveness before trying to trade his contract... in the meantime go w/this:

C - Curry / shotblocker trade / Cato
PF - Lee / Malik
SF - Jefferies / Balkman
SG - Q Rich / Nate
PG - Jamal / Collins
IA - Francis / Big Turd

sign a veteran to fill the last roster spot to give us some depth... either a SF who can rebound & score like Q Woods, or a shooter like Kareem Rush.

I doubt we will be able to get rid of both Marbury and Francis and Marbury needs to go!

Francis was looking nice for awhile there until this knee injury! If his knee is okay he is not done. What he needs is a chance to be on the court without Steph!

Francis is committed to a TEAM concept and wants to win.

If we want to still try and win now you do not hand the guard duties over to Nate and Crawford with Mardy of the bench!

I think Francis just looks good in comparison to Marbury. It's a contrast effect. Francis still gets burned often on defense and is really only a mediocre offensive player at this point in his career.

We don't need a backup shotblocker. We need a starter who is gonna make people think twice about coming in the lane. Neither Lee nor Curry do that. Our best chance was with Bynum. He was in our laps.

enough w/the Bynum stuff... let's deal w/the here & now instead of harping on shoulda woulda's... D Lee's been a very good starter... i don't have a problem if he remains a starter.

we need a shotblocking intimidator no question, but it doesn't necessarily have to be from the PF position... a trade of Frye & the 1st round pick for someone like Josh Smith would do the trick & still allow D Lee to start games for us (not sure ATL makes that trade however)

if that's a no deal, then go after a backup PF/C like Etan Thomas... maybe Frye can get you Etan & WAS's 1st round protected pick? they have some starting C issues going on over in WAS so maybe that's a deal that could work... Etan would be a nice fit on this roster imho... he's got that tough, no nonsense attitude & the athleticism to fit the bill... plus he's from Harlem.

a shot blocker would foul out in the first quarter because every guard in the league gets in the lane against the Knicks.
