It's always a good thing to snag a young player like this who has shown nice potential against his peers of the same level and we have a NEED for a 4th big who can block shots rebound etc... Makes a lot of sense since we have an open roster spot
We need another guard at some point--someone who has less flair and more effeciency than what we have --a steady type guy. I like Delonte West but I dont think we have what it would take to get him.

I think Jeffries is going to be our undersize/quick big, not nessacerly our fourth big. We still need a fourth Power Forward who can take over what Lee does off the Bench and can cover for Curry/Fry if he is needed because of foul trouble..........

We need Frye to develop into a complete player off the bench. Rebound, block shots and defend. He will score in the post more without Curry playing next to him

I think IT is more concerned with developing the guys we have that can play power forward, i.e. Lee, Frye, Jeffries, and Balkman. He probably should be looking at some other guys to take Cato's spot now that Jerome James appears healthy, but I cannot fault him for focusing on developing our young bigs and just bring in veterans like Cato to help them develop.
Low risk high return possible... good investment in my mind. You can always cut him or Cato. I wonder why he has not done anything yet? The trading season starts soon, no?
