Ive heard so many return dates for Jeffries. But the most recent one I read in this weeks news paper was this monday. So can anyone confirm this

Next Friday verus Indy, baring any set backs..........was the safest time I heard. next wendesday verus Hawks was the earilest.

There will always be some reason why the team isn't winning.
Of course, now Francis is out (even if LB "insisted" on getting him).
And when JJ2 comes back, they'll have to "gel" all over again.

Francis was a candidate to hit the bench anyway when forwards Channing Frye (sprained left ankle) and Jared Jeffries (left wrist) return. Knicks president/ coach Isiah Thomas said he didn't know what his lineup will look like against Milwaukee, but Jeffries might be ready to play by Monday. Speculation is Quentin Richardson will move to shooting guard when Frye and Jeffries return, sending Francis to the bench.

yeah, I am expecting something like that as well. Not fear to Jared to put it all on him, like he is the "missing" piece. Its just setting him up for failure. imo

Yeah I agree. Jeffries is probably feeling more pressure then he did before he got injured.
Hopefully he will help us alot defensively, but my only problem is that he cant guard every
player at once. So stiffbury and crawful as well as the rest of the team will either be
influenced by jeffries defensive intesnsity, or there weak defense will continue to be exposed.

Note: Thomas wouldn't say if Crawford would start in place of Steve Francis (knee tendinitis), and didn't rule out Jared Jeffries (broken left wrist) making his first appearance of the season tonight.
