Hey all...

Has anybody been to any home games this past week? I was thinking of going on Saturday w/ some friends and buying some of the $10 tickets and then moving down to better seats since it looks like there are a lot of empty seats as of late.

Are there as many open seats to do some "self-upgrading" as it seems? And if so, does it seem like the security has been hassling people to make sure they're in the right seats too?

Thanks!!

you can show up the day of the game and pick up $10 tix no problem, although saturday may be tougher b/c it being a weekend and all. i would buy some $10 seats before, if you could.

walking down shouldn't be a problem. but if you try to walk all the way down, then expect an usher to ask you for your tickets.

Yeah, ticketmaster sent me a thing saying they still had $10 tickets available so I'd probably buy them ahead of time.

You can just pick them up will call the day of the game right?

On the lower level they're real strict. Especially if you have a group with you, I wouldn't count on much success. Upper levels are easier.

How about like the 300 level?

That's where I usually buy (they're like 60 bucks normally)...and I feel like there would be open seats there.

Nah, I've never had season tickets...I just got to a handful of home games every year.

I thought about getting them this year, but I work til 6 in Connecticut so it would be too difficult to get to most weeknight games.

man i used to sneak down to the 200's.... and its kinda risky but if you slick and survey the floor you can do it... I find that the best thing to do - is pick which seats are empty right before halftime.. then go move during halftime.. but u have to make sure those seats were empty before halftime cuz peole leave n **** so it just loks liek u comin back from the bathroom

Yeah I'm content in the 300 section...200s might be pushing it.

I just don't want to end up watching the whole game from all the way in the back of the 400's.

I was gearing up to go to a game in the past 2 months, but I had a sock drawer I had to sort out.

last year me and my best friend bought $10 tickets to the knicks chicago game....we ended up sitting courtside right behind spike lee, camron, luke wilson, jaromir jagr....and we got to meet phil ivey....best $10 I have ever spent...so yeah just move down if anything they'll kick you out of the seats then you gotta move to other seats.

i got as far as the 100 level behind the courtside section once... when me & my friend tried moving down behind to the last row behind the Knick bench, the cranky Indian usher lady told us to go back to the seats we just came from, which was literally 3 rows up in the very next section... & this was for a pre-season game w/half the seats empty at the garden.

Guys persistance and confidence will get you wherever you want to go. Boston is strict as well, but I just keep trying until I find an opening. Never sat anywhere but the lower level. Act like you belong. Wait for openings. No problem.
I just hope that people will like me
