I've seen the future. Isiah will not be fired. He will "resign" at some point not too far off, and he'll offer this in a press conference:
"I just feel, that for the players we have here who love the game of basketball, for the fans who love the game of basketball, for the owner, who will do whatever he feels needs to be dome to bring a winner to this city -- that what's best is for me to step away at this time.
"I still beleive in the players, I still beleive in the plan we put in place to get younger and more athletic... but now it's time for a new shepard to come in and guide this team to where it's headed, which is...you're going to see a lot of good times coming up soon.
"Sometimes in life, you put your heart into something. You work on it everyday. You have a vision. You care for it, and it just doesn't happen the way you wanted. I don't call that failure. Failure isn't ... a lot has happened since i was brought on here, and I think time has yet to really judge what's been put in place here
"I love the organization. The city, the fans, Mr. Dolan who was a great man to work for. and that's it. You move on"

I think Isiah will eventually resign as well. It's the only "save face" move that he has left.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

You're really channeling Isiah tonight.

"I feel priveleged to have been part of the Knicks organization. Really, I do. Its really been a pleasure to watch this team grow. Its too bad Larry came in and shat on my baby. And so that's really what we're left with - a dirty baby. And look I want no piece of that.. I know what you're thinking - what will become of my talents... what are my plans for the future? Lets keep it simple - Larry better watch his back. Larry will get his. If I don't shove my size 14 foot up his HOF ass, my name ain't Zeke. I'm from the West side of Chicago. Remember that. [throws up gang sign]"
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Was there something in the press conference after the game to make you think Isiah would resign? I stomached the game and saw up to him shkaing the players hands as they left the court.

Isiah: "I would like to thank the fans for sticking with us through all of this (as they boo). Ultimately, I came here to win a championship and get the Knicks in the playoffs. While I can't confirm or deny that we've accomplished our goals, I will say that I am very satisfied with this ballclub. I hope you all will embrace our new coach, Dennis Rodman, as he takes the podium."
...
(Later on) Dolan: "Isiah is a ****ing rat bastard who robbed me of $500 million. I'm going to be voiding his contract and not paying the rest of us, pending a hearing in front of commissioner Stern. In addition, I'd also like to announce that Cablevision will be raising their rates to an extra $20 a month for MSG, as the Knicks are playing so well, that we believe it is worth the extra $$$."
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
