16.6 PPG 7.1 RBS, 54.5 FG%...If he keeps id production up id think those numbers would go up, do you think at this point he even deserves consideration for the all star team? Or does Shaq get voted in (tho he is finished) and Howard back him up? What type of numbers do you think Curry would need to have by the break to even be considered?

If Curry is up to 18-8 and we have a decent record by the all star break I think the coachs could choose him as a reserve. He wont get voted in.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Cute idea but impossible.

Shaq will get voted in and the coaches will choose Dwight as the backup center

They have to pick at least 5-6 bigs in my opinion. Shaq voted in probably.
Howard is a lock. Jermaine Oneil, Bosh, and Okafor would be good choices as well.
Might come down to Eddy Curry or Ben Wallace

orlando is in first place with howard- shaqless miami is 7 & 10.

r they going to carry 3 centers?

how does he get in over wallace?

unless Nate is going to jump over Curry's fat belly, I don't see Curry sniffing the all star game.

Ben Wallace has not been a factor at all. If its Curry or Wallace most Chicago fans would even admit Curry has been better.

i would say curry over ben wallace.. but lets say 6 bigs.

Shaq vote
Howard, Bosh, Okafor, J Oneal are all locks.. what about Rasheed Wallace?

Not to mention Antwan Jamison who plays PF/Sf

I dont think Curry can make an all-star game till Shaq retires and at that point hes going to be battling Bogut for the nod

Depends on the coachs picking the players and the team records. If EC continues this scorching play till the break though I could see the coachs giving him a nod. Wallace and Jamison both are good players and would have a shot also. Personally I dont think Shaq nor Ben Wallace should be there. If EC is averaging 18-8 by the break (very possible) than I personally would go with:

Dwight Howard
Chris Bosh
Jermain Oneil
Okafur
Eddy Curry

LOL after the Bulls miserbale start and the Skiles/Wallace headband piss match the Bulls have been on a tear. Ben has had a couple good games during this stretch. What some homers don't understand is that often times it comes down to getting decent numbers and winning not getting good numbers and losing. The former notes that individual begins to make others around them better, hence wins follow. The latter notes a player putting up very good numbers at the expense of the team winning, hence doesn't make teammates better. So far Curry fits the latter. We'll see if things change for him, his teammates, and the wins.

curry needs to improve and be more consistent to avg. 18-20ppg and 8-9 rbs. to be considered. however, injuries are always a factor. o'neal can be on injury reserve by then because he has been prone to such things in the season. as well as jermaine o'neal. okafor has been playing well also but he gets injured a lot too. curry has been thoroughly durable so it can be a possibility. i would like to see the day crawford could go there.

I think Curry will be OK in All Starts game.
No defence needed, no offensive fauls will be called, no need to play long, and it will be other good players aroound to clean up.

i don't think Curry gets in the Allstar game this year, but he was my pick to be Most Improved Player this year.

if he gets to 18 & 8 this year & improves on that next year, then he will get serious consideration for next season.

Godd point, but dont get your head twisted in thinking that Ben will make the all star team with okay production because his team won a couple games. How many all star teams did Bruce Bowen make?

The Bulls have been a 5-0 tear but not Ben Wallace. In fact in 2 of those games were head to head with Curry and you coud easily argue that Curry out played Wallace.

Wallace last 5 games:
7pts-4reb
10pts-9reb
1pts-4reb
8pts-12reb
5pts-7reb

Curry vs Wallace head to head

Nov 28th
E Curry: 24pts-8reb-67% shooting
Wallace: 8pts-12reb-50% shooting

Nov 25th
E Curry: 20pts-12reb-50% shooting
Wallace: 5pts-7reb-33% shooting

Curry has 5 double doubles. Wallace has 1

Curry has no shot because he has the worst defensive numbers on the planet. Next...
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
