David Lee joked in an interview that the reason Curry is playing well is because of him starting. He was kidding but I think a big reason for Curry's success is Lee who helps Curry much more in defense & rebounding at the 4 position than Frye.

Frye should be playing Center with the second unit where he could flourish. When Curry is out of the game the offense should then go through Frye.

It is clear that David is adding something beyond his statistics to this lineup, just as he did last year (most noticeably during the winning streak). He profides some good help defense for Curry, but in fairness to Frye, I think his was coming along. He was getting more active and his defense was improving. Shot was starting to fall again.

I wonder how things will end up this year, Channing is a player, it's only his second year so lets not be sold on him coming off the bench. But, that being said, I really like the idea of him backing up Curry (for offensive reasons). He can also act as another shooter out there. Not to just off point here, but I really see this team causing matchup problems for many other teams. We have the trio of 6'11" guys who can play together as well as the trio of 6' guards. Interesting things can be done with this team.
