he pulls out a scorecard of sorts, writes down the ref's # and makes a note. looks like he's working tonight as he's evaluating the refs. there are other notes on his card as well. interesting.
couldn't tell if you were being serious here. Did he really do that?

shot clock is expiring and marbury gives it to quentin for a prayer and q hits it. why in the blue hell did marbury pass that to q with 2 on the clock facing away from the basket? he's gotta shoot that. we got lucky. quentin runs back laughing.

marbury is terrible at reacting to the shot clock. so many times this season i've seen him catch the ball, with space, with 3-4 on the shot clock, and dribble and pass. shoot it! conversely (?), this game he's guarding mike miller at the top of the key with 5 on the shot clock. mike miller obviously going to shoot the 3- marbs gives him a cushion and he drains it.

something i've found surprising.

sweet play by Q though.

We have to string some victories together. The crowd just doesn't believe that we've gotten better. The old "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" stuff and all.

The thing is: we lost to Toronto and we owned Memphis for the most part, but we still stumble-bumbled down the stretch and allowed them to get back in the game. Not good signs. I think 7-3 over the next 10 home games will get the crowd to consider to get back on our side.

I know it was just a Memphis squad missing FOUR of its players, but the Garden crowd was just bored and didn't seem very impressed at all.

this team is incredibly uninspiring to watch in person. they don't play purposeful basketball. their successful plays seem to most often occur because of an individual excellent play, and rarely as the result of an execution of team strategy. i'd love to hear anyone who's watched them multiple times in person this year say that they have any faith that this squad is going anywhere.

But the self-anointed "real fans" don't even go to games; they sit around and complain about those who do.

So I'm not a real fan because I won't go shell out $50+ to invest in a misguided and mismanaged team. Fake as I am, I won't give money to Dolan, such is my self-righteous stand (I'm not a cablevision subscriber).

You're lucky. I'm forced to use Optimum Online. I guess I'm part of the problem.

great recap. I missed the game (I know, I said 6 hail Patricks this morning), and your recap made it perfect for me. Plus it was ridiculously funny. You watched alot of Seinfeld huh?

didn't watch the game and your recap was just the right touch. Excellent as always.

curry is like twice the size of swift and he can't do anything against him. looking at curry from this close, he's just so much bigger than anybody else out there. his arms are somewhat toned but he's just big and wide. a totally phsyically dominating presence.

I think Bonn is rubbing off on you.

Keep it up!

I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Some real fans are thousands of miles away and pay $189 for league pass plus $50 a month for direct tv so that they can watch. It doesnt make them any less a fan. Some pay another $149 for the NHL ticket as well because you have to watch the Rangers and the Knicks. :)

I don't think thats the point. The point is that a lot of so-called pessimists are the same people who show up at the Garden and cheer with passion
