Andrea Bargnani, the Raptors’ 7-foot center and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2006 draft, showed he is finding his rhythm off the bench. He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, including his defensive rebound off a missed Quentin Richardson 3-pointer that could have tied the score with 42.9 seconds left.

Richardson also missed a 3-pointer with 1:24 to play and the Knicks trailing, 97-96.

“If I make those shots, I feel like it’s a different story,” Richardson said. “This one, I take the blame for.”

Qrich rips down 16 boards (14 defensive), scores 16 points (double double) and keeps us in the game in the opening stanza all by his lonesome and still takes the loss on his back.

He's the man, him and curry have come to play, Crawford had 9 assists (9points), francis had 8 assists (5 points).

Marbury 15/4, but lee and nate pretty much non existent...there is no doubt we need frye and jeffries back. (14 feet of players)

Q looks exactly how I remember him in LA, just a beast down low. Especially when he has these Barkley-lite games on the boards; I think we should reward him with a few extra post-ups.

The only thing about Jared coming back that botheres me is now Balkman will see reduced minutes (if any at all). We're so soft on the perimeter and challenging shot attempts at the rim, he could very well be starting at the 3 right now.

I agree with the Balkman comments. He is clearly our best shotblocker. His ability to wait until the last second and then do a quick jump to get a piece of the ball is above-average for a small forward. However, Jeffries is a more experienced defender and from what I have seen of him, he will probably have a bigger impact than Balkman because he can play defense and make the post entry passes that Curry's needs. Dare I say that Jeffries might be the missing piece that gets this team over the hump. They are really close.

Qrich is our unnnamed Captain!
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Strangely, I saw two offensive rebounds that the Raptors got with about 3 or 4 minutes remaining that if Curry had boxed out, the game could have easily been the Knicks'. Q is covering for Curry, and they both know it too.

No doubt, Q went cold in the second half, but his rebounding and defense have been good and tough.

Crawford hurt us, as did Marbury dissapearing in the 4th quarter once again, Lee getting in foul trouble, Curry not knowing how to play help defense (It's awful) and Francis not knowing how to ball, flat out.

3 or 4 minutes is still a lot of basketball to be played. Q had the ball in the air with less than 20 seconds to play which would have tied the game. Q had a good game, but if that shot falls we most likely go to over time. Putting all the blmae on Curry for a missed rebound or 2 is unfair. Where was Lee? Where was Q? Hell, where was the whole team?
